Care to share the ‘loads of issues’ that will tank AML in ‘good time’ Midtable? No? Didn’t think so. You’re barking up the wrong tree here, move along sharpish ;-)

Many of the ‘hard hit’ stocks today down double digits percentage wise yet we are half that. Shies the underlying belief/strength in AML both now and looking ahead IMO

Doubt those large buyers Friday will be too bothered as will not make a difference in the long term and I think our SP has again held up better than most today and will recover very quickly back up to 1700/1800 soon, reiterating the strength here. Re Brexit, I think the fact that neither side prepared to formally give up on talks and call it a day shows they both desperately want to do a deal which I think will happen personally. It’s a coin flip though. I’m not concerned one bit about AML prospects short, medium or long term. Long and strong AML

These guys are the best at what they do and makes absolute sense to ‘trim the fat’ and or better utilise current facilities or strategic partners in order to maximise cost savings, output, quality and profit. It’s all part of the plan to give AML a rock solid lean, efficient and quality foundation to take the business forward. Not sure if that news alone the reason for the big buys late Friday but may well have been as just deemed another big positive for the AML turnaround and now enough to have enticed some more serious investors to get on board :-)

Think unfounded to say Stroll a DAI puppet JJ, they weren’t there when Stroll bailed out AML and took control and it was he who bought in Moers which he was probably able to do due to the relationships he has and how savvy a businessman he is. I blindly invested in AML as soon as I read Moers was the new CEO of AML without even looking at any fundamentals of AML!!! Fortunately my instinct was right and as I’ve looked into Stroll, I’m more confident than ever in the team and that’s exactly what they are, a team. No one man will turn AML around and make it a great success, it will take all of them from top to bottom to apply the same level of commitment, professionalism and execution which I truly believe will be led by Strol, Moers & management team very effectively.

JonTaylor, 100% with you on that. We now have a very savvy, wealthy businessman and best of breed management driving AML forward and I strongly believe LTH are going to get fabulous returns here. Beautiful

I think we’ll hold up better than a lot of other companies will SP wise IMO but have some powder ready to add more here and in other opportunities should they present themselves

Only positive is that the Wales Tier 4 lockdown starting tonight is falling over the Christmas holiday period so hopefully the disruption will not be too significant for our Athan factory. Got to get on top of this virus though, it’s causing havoc. In and out of lockdowns and Tiers like there’s no tomorrow!

On the other hand, Aston Martin has had a very strong week after share consolidation and there were around £10million of buys at the very end of trading today. Expect it to continue climbing through 2000p early 2021 if not before year end!

Early December, I posted that the SP was likely to pull back when it was at 124p after it had risen around 130% in a month. Though it seems to have strong resistance to dip below 106p, I think SP is under a lot of pressure from the continuation of Covid and Brexit worries. Still a lot of uncertainty out there and I think this got ahead of itself.

Looking at the list of AML trades at the end of the day, there were 7 trades around £100k each, a £470k, a £711k and a £7 million!!! Somethings coming!!!! Can’t wait for Monday!!! SP has done brilliantly this week given the brexit pressure too. I feel more confident than ever that we’re really going to push through 2000p early in 2021 and on to higher highs thereafter. If so, that’s a very strong team next season and I just hope Vettel is suitably invigorated and finds his mojo with Racing Point. He’ll need it to compete against Mercedes and Red Bull but I do think it’s great opportunity for him to get back in the F1 spotlight for the right reasons. Young Lance needs to step up to a new level of performance too

8alls! What did I miss? What a tree shake this morning and it would be the one day I’m not able to watch this like a hawk!! Missed opportunity to buy more but smiling to see the SP recovered already

Agree, but this has held on stubbornly to the 1700’s today and I would’ve thought there was ample opportunity throughout the day for profit takers to sell but does not seem to have been the case. I think we’ll either move sideways the rest of this week or continue to creep up unless there’s news of any kind. Really strong rise today considering a lot of everything else has struggled and given we’ve already had 2 previous days of strong gains. No one wants to give up dem golden tickets!!

We’re around 1.5% away from the MCAP breaking £2 billion. I’m sure Stroll & Co will be very keen to see it push through that milestone. GLA

I still think we’re undervalued here. Not sure we’ll get to £20 before the year is out but don’t think it’s impossible at the same time!! Think further positive news of some sort will be required for that to happen but I can see the SP in the 1800’s for sure. Just as a benchmark (though unrelated directly), there’s a British company building a state of the art battery facility in the UK that’s looking to lead the Lithium ion, and beyond Lithium Ion, battery industry and that facility alone is costing £2.5 billion so if you simply look at nothing more than the MCAP of AML against its asset value, even taking the current debt into consideration it’s still significantly undervalued IMO. Saint Athan is state of art so that must be worth the MCAP and some alone!!
