AML the only stock I’m holding at the moment do plenty of powder to buy more if it goes near 1600p but it’s getting hammered today for some reason when nothing else appears to be so I can only believe it’s profit taking from the great run up it’s had. Yes, a couple of percent with the market due to continued Covid concerns but overdone again today IMO

For me, SP holding around 1700p (old 85p) would make sense as that was our previous high last June which was hit after a strong run up. With all the positive news we’ve had since I don’t see why SP would drop much below 1700p on its own accord

Nice one DavidHos, always nice to catch the top but as you say more luck than judgement 9 out of 10 times! I topped up at 1798p after it first fell of its recent high but will do so again if we get near 1600 but unless there’s a general and sizeable market correction coming, I don’t see why else that will happen IMO.GLA

GT4, on what basis are you ‘concerned’ AML will return to 1240p (old 62p)? That would effectively wipe out all and any good news/developments AML has received received/announced in recent months and I just don’t see it. If you really were concerned, you wouldn’t have just bought again at 1715p!!!

BigPlonka, I’ve never held Tesla stock and not something I would consider for many reasons right now but biggest one is the investor they based the film ‘Big Short’ on who shorted the US housing/mortgage market ahead of the crash 2008/9 just keeps increasing his short position on Tesla!!! He was ridiculed at the time and seemed mad but he ended up with the last laugh and made billions from that short!

We’re being hugely oversold today IMO. Tree shake for me when again you look at IAG, Easyjet, RR, HYVE are all either up slightly or down no more than 2% and far more precarious than AML at this time. Great buy/top up opportunities here

Totally agree Retired Copper and as for being hoodwinked with engine/exhaust sound being projected through a speaker to ‘sound the same’, no thank you - it just isn’t. You can’t beat the rawness and wonders of a combustion engine both for drive and sound IMO but like anything, it’ll change with each new human generation and electric vehicles will be come the ‘norm’. I’d only ever consider the family SUV being electric in future, I’m keeping my M4 as long as I can still drive it legally on the road!

Absolutely JT. We have 2 of the very best in Stroll and Moers at the top and in charge of AML and with MB ‘slipping under the covers’ with AML, there’s going to be fireworks!!!! ;-)

Thanks Noah and whilst any companies success is never solely down to one person, you can have hugely influential people linked to such success and Moers was number 1 at AMG and of course he’s now top dog in the day to running/direction of AML so serves as a great indicator of what lies ahead for AML IMO :-)

So share price dropped a little over 10% this week off it’s recent high last week when the likes of Easyjet, IAG, Rolls Royce, Hyve have dropped around 5%. I would’ve certainly said the likes of the majority of the said companies above would be far riskier than AML and have greater headwinds (certainly in the short term) given the rampant spread of Covid again and subsequent lockdowns so I believe we’ve probably just seen a bit of profit taking this week (on top of the general market dip) given such news and the fantastic rise we’ve seen last few months. AML fundamentals not changed though and still looking solid ahead for me. May see it drop a little more but just a great opportunity to top up if not done so already IMO. Have a good weekend all.

Sorry Leon, I’ve done nothing more than looked at etoro just to buy a bit of Bitcoin as use HL and IG at present but may well look to move more to etoro as I believe they’re commission free

I don’t believe so Cars as the article I read stated the defect only affected models made within a certain time period

Only bought a £1000 worth of Bitcoin for fun as the whole crypto thing just stinks of ‘if it sounds too good to be true’!!!!!! I’m much happier with the vast majority of my hard earned pounds being invested in companies but genuinely best of luck as each to their own

Dunnie, get out of Coinbase now!! I have £1500 (not a great deal thankfully) stuck in there and have had no response from them in 3 weeks! I was unable to buy Bitcoin through the platform for some reason despite holding Ethereum and Litecoin in my account - it just said ‘account restricted, you cannot buy or sell’!!! I then ended up getting locked out of my account and no password reset or anything else works. I bought Bitcoin at £17,000 through etoro platform instead and was a doddle so suggest get your money out and move to etoro. Good luck

I’ve just read it’s the foam padding in the ceiling of the car so although it’s not directly a big deal to passenger safety, it’s a shocker that something like this can be missed in production/QC but these are the sort of things along with any other product/production deficiencies that Mr Moers will 100% iron out!!

I’ve no idea where the SP will be at the end of 2021 and with the way the world is right now, no point looking so far ahead as totally unpredictable. That said, I’m very confident SP will be significantly up at the end of 2021 from where we are now and even with all the chaos going on, I’ve got strong belief in the theory that anyone who can potentially afford an Aston is generally someone of significant wealth and such people will only ever continue to make more money by enlarge - particularly given the ups and downs of the market in the last 12 months, a dream for market traders/money makers so if we can keep refining, developing and producing our products (which is happening), I believe sales will consistently climb and impress. I’ve bought more (3 tranches) on the last 2 significant dips (SP dropped approx 10% each time) and has served me well so I will continue to do that should such opportunities present themselves again
