I believe the vision AML has with its partners is an entire ultra luxury global eco system for the super wealthy. This vision is the ‘Apple’ of its kind IMO and now that PIF is onboard, absolutely anything could be possible IMVHO. I look forward to more detail about the RI itself and hopefully AML’s ‘vision’ too come September

With the Saudi’s planning unthinkable projects such as this, who knows what they can throw AML’s way!!!! After all, AML into luxury retail too now so maybe they get to do a few ‘billion dollar’ penthouses in developments like this in the future!!

The answer to your question Kong is that none of US no yet but clearly PIF are better informed and decided to wager a lot of money on the belief the AML’s turnaround (with their inclusion along with Mercedes) is achievable

Made me laugh that Crowman!! Your entitled to your opinion but fly away now ;-) DBX is an all round stunning car and has been very well received by the industry commentators and new buyers alike. Can’t exactly tell me the Bentley Bentayga looks any better than a pumped up Dacia but that hasn’t stopped Bentley from smashing it!!! The DBX and AML will do just fine with Stroll, Mercedes, PIF and the rest of the team behind it. Move along

Which ever one’s I can see SoS (ie aren’t green boxes already!) are all names that only pipe up on days like today, trying to spin the negative. I completely ignore and looking at how the SP has behaved so far today, would say the general market doesn’t seem to correlate with our resident and once in a blue moon ‘doom mongers’!! The further commitment from Yew Tree/Mercedes and inclusion of PIF now makes AML stronger than its ever been looking forward IMO.

Consider - PIF bought around 16.5% of AML for £650 million. That sees them value the business around £4 billion. We know that’s not where the business is now but tells you where they see it longer term.

Advocate - totally agree. We are not yet privy to the full forward looking detail/plans in AML, Merc & PIF partnership but they’ve all sat down and clearly believe the ****tail they’ll mix together will taste sweet!! As always been said, this is a longer term turnaround in AML but strong foundations are in place with notable efficiencies and improvements in the business itself already clear to see despite an incredibly difficult environment in the last 2 years. PIF coming to the party and further commitment from Merc has put AML’s projected turnaround into its strongest position yet. GLA genuine AML holders

Manchin now supporting the Climate change push from US which has seen renewable energy producers rocket today. Let’s hope that ripples into IES tomorrow and moving forward and that now, it all really begins to fall in to place

This is the dog of my portfolio but I believe the SP is seriously disconnected from THG’s real value so holding until the rerate comes, no matter how long that takes.

DenFos, I can assure you AML is not going bankrupt in the next few months and is highly unlikely to go bankrupt in future now. If not sooner, this will recover well once all the fear of inflation, Ukraine (even recession) etc. is fully absorbed and the markets have pretty much priced that all in IMO.

Ps my trade of £3k at 471p last Friday didn’t go through so got them a bit cheaper today :-)

Only topped up with another £3k to balance how many shares I now hold with a view to doubling down through the RI so long as it is extended to existing holders. If not, I will look to add more if we go further South but I can’t see that we can go much lower from here given the new investment/partner news and or unless the next update is off script but we’ve already had 2022 projected numbers reiterated and a strong order book deep into 2023 so not expecting any dramas in the upcoming update. HAve a good weekend all
