Can someone please explain the SP drop in relation to ‘ex-dividend’. I’m not familiar with it and having read up on it am not much the wiser!! How, as a shareholder, am I benefiting if the SP drops by the value of the dividend I’ll receive periodically as a shareholder? If the value of the SP doesn’t regain that loss very quickly, I’ve gained nothing from receiving the dividend? Thanks in advance

Couldn’t agree more Mozax. It will just take one significant order to be announced (which can’t be far away) and IES will really take off IMHO. There must also be a very real possibility of an approach to buy IES given it’s tech, position, global clean energy necessity and dollar strength.

All falling into place and looking very promising for massive demand of IES solutions looking forward

Yep, MicroFocus revenues etc been going in the wrong direction so the vultures are circling for bargains of UK tech companies with depressed SP and due to exchange rates. DT however does not have a depressed SP or declining revenues but is in a very significant space right now which is only going to see increased demand and necessity moving forward. Given it’s best of breed solutions too, it’s no wonder it’s been courted and I expect a significant premium to be offered for DT. GLA

I bought a few more yesterday (more than 1 or 2!!!) and hoping for a blockbuster RNS soon that will really kick off a sustained and significant upward trajectory in the SP. GLA

And 3 x £20k+ buys before it too :-)

Price has held up really well considering a significant lift in a short space of time from the recent SP low but nothing less than what’s deserved. Been a lot of stocks down on the day so even more positive signs for IES to have held strong today. Have a good weekend all

Agree and THG could be next on US vultures radar!!!!

Is why I bought more THG at 64p as either way, hold and will be rewarded here from buyout or recovery
