brent is down since friday at 4:30pm? brent then was 65.47, its now 65.28 at the mornings low as i type.. so its lower not higher by 3%. d'oh!

have you not seen the RNS this morning? i think that will nullify that small bit of good news?

volume is huge. is this because the company has fallen out of one of the FTSE listings? mcap now about �25m

stew, i've noticed that the AT buys kick in after an O trade buy. what to make of that? if trend reverses this could rise sharply i think. i hope results in April are no worse than expected. UPGS was at a big european trade show last week - check out twitter feed.

oil price when Tullow was 175p a week ago was only 50c lower than now. so why is SP 188p? whats changed?

interesting that the SP is now back near the lows yet SBGL at $4.20 is well up on the $3.85 low it was at just a week or so ago. SP was heading to 68-70p before that news article. is that the reason for today's drop? tempted to get back in here if this drops much lower. but could drop a lot lower if the deal is off..

i sold to buy UPGS at new 52 week low. another dog that has failed investors after IPO. to me it was 50/50 whether it would rise above 55p today. i'll look to en-enter tomorrow if funds still available. support at 50p.

my 7.5% profit on buying LUCE is in this @ 31p today.

me too.. still think THEMANWHOCAN talking crap though. out at 54.85p for 7.5% profit less fees.

on a positive note won't profit be increased in future years as that expense (whatever it was) has been moved from capital expenditure to P&L account. thereby no depreciation on that asset that would have reduced profit in future years.. potentially it could make next year's profits look really good! i.e. showing good growth. at the end of the day its an expense and has to be accounted for one way or another. so value of the business shouldn't change at all. yet SP fell 35%!

seems the page on the website has been updated: http://www.upgs.com/investor-relations/major-shareholders/ pushed down on low volume today. II investors can't be happy with the SP hitting news lows can they?

it works both ways.. MMs dropping the bid to trigger stops. like this morning they dropped the bid to c.46/47p which just so happens to be yesterday's low. but try buying anywhere near that price. you can't! this is a bullish move up today. no doub't about it.

waste of time looking at the trades. they don't tell all. there could be a big buy order being filled. likewise there could be a big sell order being actioned.

charts say 49.40p is long-term support area. yes it overshot it a little at open this morning. i would say 50p could become support not resistance.. some calling for low 40s here. trying to pick the bottom is a mugs game more often than not.

blue finish today..double bottom on the SP. now time to rise. a sea of blue in that last hour.
