opening auction has been delayed. must be some technical problem.

just been reported on Bloomberg TV, opening auction delayed. so i'm still expecting it to open sometime today. has LSE ever never opened? apart from on bank holidays.

i just asked on the BT board if its BTs fault lol. here hoping to get in cheap lol.

i try getting a quote. my broker has message "tUnfortunately the Exchange is now closed". its not a bank holiday today..

into the last half hour of trading in the US. come on SBGL lets surpass the days high!! most of trading in the US gets done in the last half hour.. S&P 500 is at the days high.

saying go SHORT! it has quite a good track record on LMI. mmmmmmm I wonder if that was the reason for the drop to 42p on the bid.

should SGL & SBGL be moving in sync? assuming there is no currency movement. SGL and LMI seem to have fallen the same % since the end of last year.

is this the same as SBGL but SA not US listing? TA on the chart for SGLJ is showing another 10% gain to be had before resistance. then another 5% of that resistance breaks.

If SGL:SJ was to loose half its recent gains i just wonder what effect that will have on LMI's SP. its not been tracking SGL up but sods law says it will track it down lol. hopefully i can buy in a descent qty tomorrow at a good price if i'm lucky. i'd much rather be buying 15,000-25,000 shares than 10,000. I'll probably drip feed money in. save some �� for friday as thats usually a poor day for makets. SBGL getting back to near days high. $2.78 as i type. i'll think about selling before the inevitable Friday sell-off. if i'm lucky i may breakeven.

anyone notice how it spikes up in the first hour of trading then pulls back? i'm thinking of selling once i get to breakeven. currency exchange fees add up to about 1% so it will cost me quite a bit to buy back in. $2.76 right now but has been as low as $2.42 a few weeks ago. i paid around $2.85

i was trying to buy when it dropped to c.43.50p then again when it went into the 42s.. anything above 10,000 shares and i was getting quoted around 44p to buy. not very happy esp. when i saw a big 25,000 buy trade go through at 43.02p at 3:29pm. MMs getting very greedy on the spread. i did manage to sell some this morning though. 10,000 @ 45.42p! British bulls posted a SELL signal today? not sure where this is heading now. why is SP up only 5% off the lows when SGL:SJ is up 19% off the lows!! something doesn't add up..

is he still in? anyone seen him posting here?

bang on with my call yesterday. brent now below $74 and still no signs of a bounce. SP doing well to hold onto double digits. low 90s is near-term target here.
