The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I own shares in both. The problem I see is the small volumes on TSX. When you try and sell on TSX the SP will drop or you can’t sell. Plus it’s hard to second guess what the SP will do, although the pattern of the last two days is normal.
I believe this will be the big news for the SP where all the discoveries will be brought together and most probably an upgrade in the production rate for the year. By that time we will have another couple of well tests reported.
Yes was reading the posts, entertaining. I sold my Sound at 55p. Their problems are no production and no pipeline, and they have no money to build one. We drill and hook up a month later. I am thinking the AGM is the trigger for the next SP jump.
I was told by an ex trader friend that the 48p trade which was probably a blind sell by someone desperate to sell would bring down the price. It was early on and probably a sell order once the RNS was issued. Subsequent purchases brought the price back up. My theory only.
So the RNS was as expected and positive and the SP drops 3% on a net sell off of 70k shares. I have bought more than that this week alone. So whoever sets the share price knows there are PI's who want to make a quick buck and will sell now and move to another quick buck option. The SP will increase when buyers for SDX come along which is PW'S stated objective. I witnessed similar with Ithaca which dropped to 20p from 40 - 50p for no reason and was sold for 120p not long after. SDX is a medium term hold of 1 to 2 years before we can reap the rewards IMO.
If you listen to PW on VOX Podcast on 16th of March you will find some useful information. 9 million bbls of reserves prior to recent discoveries and very active 2018 drilling activity with 5 rigs. Results due in the next 2 weeks. Target for 2018 6500 - 7000 BOOE with OPEX of less than $10 a bbls. Todays RNS was nothing much new.
Ithaca was a different story to SDX. Huge debt, high CAPEX and OPEX, and "troubled" production on Stella. The bid was actually fair. SDX has no debt and continued production growth with low CAPEX and OPEX. PW would not accept a low ball bid although a hostile bid may be possible. Like everyone here I think the SP is being manipulated but I will not be selling under 1, and even then may hold on.
Jeez, must be ****ed: very poor spelllng. Have an awesome wekend. SNS Monday.
