All it shows is that it is better to claim less and rather over achieve than under achieve production.Leon was guilty,in his enthusiasm of promising too much. It was a bad mistake and that is why the share price is so low
As a LTH it is sad to see that all the work by Leon and co on getting copper up and running is so mistrusted by so many investors. But hey it is a wonderful opportunity for some investors to buy.Any bets what the price will be when the long awaited announcement that Roan is running comes.

I am very bullish about Jubilee's prospects but do agree that mistakes were made.
The problem appears to be that certain posters are focusing on the mistakes made without acknowledging that future prospects look good but vice versa certain posters do not acknowledge that mistakes have been made and can only see the wonderful way forward.Your post is correct and I hope those who post on this board take up your suggestions
Hi Prof and all LTH
I feel very much as you do.There are many pluses but there are minuses which you have listed
I agree with you about risks of doing business in African countries .I believe Zambia have a stable pro business government but that South Africa under it's ANC government is a failed state which hopefully if the population wakes up to the corruption will change next month but I am not that optimistic. However both country's have a common goal which is to create jobs and earn foreign currency and they need Jubilee as much as Jubilee needs them.
After all Jubilee will be responsible for doing both but in addition is performing a clean up job in both countries which is much needed so I dismiss any problems relating to location. I have taken the view that sanity by both governments will prevail.
So we are back to prices of key metals and the ability by Jubilee to produce copper as promised.
Having been in the chrome business I agree that chrome prices are unpredictable but with China and India needing a huge amount of stainless steel the prices should at least stay constant for a while. Of course I hope that Leon can increase profit margins Jubilee will be getting on chrome and history to date seems to suggest he can.
I am more positive than negative on copper which will be needed world wide and I have little doubt that copper prices are more likely to go up than down, and furthermore I believe with PGM'S prices are more likely to recover than to retreat .So we are back to my main concern which is can Jubilee produce copper as promised..All I can say about this is on evidence to date, with the new J/V and Slater increasing his holding in the company copper is likely to become the biggest producer of revenue by year end 2025.
As you can see I am bullish on future prospects for Jubilee.
Prof
With the copper price so high and running the only decision you need to make as to whether you buy the share or not is can Jubilee produce the copper as promised.IT IS THAT SIMPLE
My belief is that they can after all it is not that they haven't produced copper. They have but not produced the quantities promised.
I have NO reason to distrust Leon when he says it is a matter of time, and if Slater and Jubilee's new J/V partners agree why should I be pessimistic . I
Frog kid Sorry I Don't know your name but yes it is a problem. The rand has gone to pot. I think it is over the last 20 years the worst performing currency in the world (maybe the Turkish Lira has done worse.)That is another good reason to be positive about Jubilee as they earn dollars and not rands. To buy $ earning companies makes extra sense if you live here.
Hi Frogkid
Thanks for your last post.It gave me a laugh among st all the doom. I certainly believe being optimistic in life is the way to go. Optimism is a blessing in the world we live in especially staying in a country like South Africa where it is extremely difficult for a white Jew to remain optimistic
Thank goodness I have filtered butter . I am sorry that he now has another reason to deramp Jubilee.
To do business in Africa you can expect delays but I am more than certain that his glee at running down Jubilee can only last for another month or two. I will apologies at year end if I am wrong but would expect the same apology from all derampers if I am right
The operational update delays copper production by 1 month. One would think reading the board that the company has gone into liquidation. I MONTH ! Are all investors crazy.Nothing else has changed .I have to believe Jubilee will grow into a massive company (1 Month later) All it is another chance to BUY not SELL

Known as greatest investor of all time Warren Buffet invested in 3 shares and like me he called diversification a cop out as you are hedging your bet in case a share (or a number of shares )don't perform.
I do my homework talk to the CEO and make a decision. With Jubilee their was not a lot to dislike. I liked the start up industry they were in,(I was always bullish on metals) I trusted Leon, and decided to invest for the future. My greatest hope is that the investment will help my children and grand children and make their life a little bit easier than mine.
Jubilee was an initial disappointment but the latest moves made by Leon have in my opinion been great.
I have chosen to swim against the tide of diversification although after the initial shock I do believe there is place for diversification and I intend to diversify into a few more shares when the time is right.
Hi Gotreal
I see the platinum price is moving up nicely maybe due to the article you posted. Everything is looking so good but I just hope we will get a better South African government as they have been the main cause of a BAD JSE.
Almost all shares on the JSE are at all time lows.In fact of all the shares on my watch list ONLY Jubilee has gone up.
In the last 2 weeks they have risen 50%. I suppose I am lucky as the JBL make up 80% of my portfolio.

Yes it is all about copper. Leon has done very well by changing old contracts and entering new contracts where chrome is concerned and production has soared. More importantly he has achieved.and can be seen to have achieved wonderful results with chrome, It is about proving that he can do the same with with copper which has to date been a bit of a damp squid .The PROOF is what is needed to make the share fly. That is why it is all about copper.
Mikie
All that must happen now is for copper production to rise every month which I believe it will undoubtedly do, to see the same rise in the share price.Like you I am exceedingly bullish on Jubilee's Zambian operations
So called investors are insane buying bidcoin which generates no income.I tried to calculate the earnings of Jubilee if all Leon's promises on copper materialize but gave up as there were too many 000's. If only half his promises are kept then there are slightly less 000's but Jubilee will still be one the most profitable companies on both stock exchanges. Jubilee is like a coiled spring waiting to be released. Will Jubilee be able to produce the copper promised. Slater thinks so as do the new Arab partners .Why are there so many doubters?
Thanks gotreal it is a great article on Jubilee's progress.I suppose we still need to exercise patience as the market seems not to have got the Jubilee story right. I hope that eventually we will be rewarded
