Why is the share price not reacting to so many tips from credible tipsters ?
1 Leon shot himself in the foot with faulty time lines and being over enthusiastic
2 I also attach blame to shareholders who use charts to make a buying decision.Charts to not take into account fundamentals changes until it is too late.
I still believe once copper production is at least as specified the share will react positively
Hi Mickie
I have finally come to the realization that people have no clue about investing. They cannot wait for a company to grow and need to see cash in the bank.Just who is selling now is a mystery. I cannot believe it is an institution perhaps it is a big holder like me who needs money to live.Times are terrible in South Africa but the government whoever it is needs Jubilee to make money to pay taxes and create jobs.
I believe the Zambian government realize that Jubilee will do both (pay taxes and create jobs) and when I spoke to Leon he went out of his way to empathize the good relationship Jubilee has with the Zambian authorities.
I have decided to stop worrying and remain patient waiting for the dramatic increase in the share price which is IMO a CERTAINTY
Mickie
I am puzzled at the share price and worried that us optimists may have missed something. I have looked at the 6 monthly figures again and like you I only see upside for the company. With the deals done lately I would have expected the share price to double only to be disappointed day after day. Perhaps Leon should be asked at the meeting tomorrow if there is anything we should know that may be causing a problem. I doubt it but would welcome his confirmation that everything is on track. While I know investors can be a stupid lot the share price does point to something amiss.

I will not filter you as much of what you say is true. BUT let me explain what is balance ?
I was Leon's fiercest critic after hearing his promises without any fulfillment .
Lately he has made deals for which you give him no credit. That IS NOT balance.
All I am saying is that you should wait and see ! Why have you not sold yet ? I think that somewhere in the back of your mind you believe that Jubilee will come good.
I will be the first to criticize if it becomes clear that the promised copper production does not materialize.
It does take time to build a company

Having saved a company by going into ferro-chrome I am well aware that prices can vary considerably> It is the luck of the draw. Terry McConnachie who was my Merafe CEO before he became the CEO of SLP admitted to me that he was very lucky that the platinum price went to $2000 just as the company got going.
I don't therefore deny that the prices of the metals produced is the MAJOR factor to consider when deciding to invest in a mining company(in Jubilee case the investment is in technology)Shareholders need to take that risk. I believe we will see improved prices in PGM'S some time in the future but agree credit should be given to Leon for diversifying
Heroic Just sell .I agree that management in the past was far too enthusiastic and let shareholders down badly but your post makes little sense as Leon has completed some wonderful deals lately and should be getting credit for what has been accomplished lately. I was Leon's critic for some time but now I say WELL DONE

It is difficult to believe that the market is so clueless when looking at the figures that Jubilee has just produced. The market is giving Jubilee NO credit for future growth, but when I read Heroics remarks it has hit me that the market is made up of many Heroics so nothing surprises me.As Gotreal says many pants wetters around
With the ANC government we have seen only corruption and devastation, with crime rampant as there is no jobs being created.Their latest moves with Russia .Iran North Korea and Hamas has devastated the JSE with most shares hitting new lows.It is becoming a country which is fast becoming uninvestable. The rand has tanked to over 19.4 to the $ and over 24.4 to the pound.
They have done nothing to help their own people and it is perplexing that they are able to continue getting votes.
Taking that all into account us poor shareholders in Jubilee have little other option than to put our money into a company earning dollars. It is a bull point which I believe South African investors should consider.

You know that when covid hit the pa-nickers sold at any cost.I benefited from their stupidity. I honestly believe we have the identical situation here .I make decisions on what I believe not what I read on this site.
I am sure that Mickey Edzi Seis Nav Jlppositive Gotreal & other believers do the same .Only time will tell who is right.

I will answer your query. It is not as if Leon has not had his successes .To date he has achieved much.BUT if there is a problem with copper production the share price will not improve.
The overwhelming evidence with the deals done, is that this time LTH will be rewarded. Slater and the other institutions are not fools and will not have thrown good money after bad.
The rampers on this site have no evidence that modules will fail to work and for one am relaxed that Jubilee is on it's way to becoming the biggest company in its field.I put my faith in Slater rather than Bushy and his ilk.

I am convinced that the share will only start moving up on results. The market will only believe money in the bank.
Having said that I am perfectly relaxed that we will rewarded at a later date. Hard to believe that some rampers think that Leon is fooling the institutions and have made the ridiculous assumptions that the S/V with with United Arab Emeritus is still a pipe dream.
Really butter Northern posts are very clear and easy to understand. Jubilee is a company that is virtually re starting a process in Zambia which lets face it did not start too well .We can talk about load shedding and water problems but these setbacks were only the start of a learning process. If you do not believe the company will master it's copper problems you have no business in investing in Jubilee. All I can say is IF (and I believe they WILL ) they do as Leon has promised with producing copper the future looks bright indeed. Your decision is easy MAKE UP YOUR MIND
Happydays
You are likely to be correct but everything has it's place. I happen to believe that keeping your shareholders informed as to what is going on is more important than a mining indaba
Hi Eddie,
It is actually frightening to see how the share is reacting ,falling below the placing price. It would be interesting if somebody could have a chat with Slater as I would think he must be as confused as all of us.
There must be investors out there that don't believe the Jubilee story will ever become a reality. I have heard no bad news since the placing and while I still believe that the company should do well why are people in the know including directors not buying .While still relaxed there is no doubt that the share price is telling a different story.
I will try and contact the company and persuade them to give us a further progress report.
Seis
I agree.
The history of Leon's claims compared to reality is the problem. Those selling do not see the advances made but only see the delays.
They obviously do NOT believe Leon.
I have met Leon and I believe we are at the beginning of a company that is about to show phenomenal growth.
I am not the only person that believes given that institutions like SLATER also believe.
I choose to think that the institutions know quite a bit more than bushy
Shuvlin
I believe they can reduce the tolling and increase production on the more profitable deal they recently went into.
That is what Leon said and that is what I hope they are doing
