When taking over a company by dismissing 2 directors who I felt were not acting in the interests of the company both I and my CEO who was Terry McConnachie never took salaries until the company achieved decent profits. That applied to all board members . I believe that was why we succeeded in the turn around taking a company with a market cap of R 1.28 million to a present day market cap nearly R5 billion.
Exactly Mickie . I cannot get to the AGM but if it was me in the chair I would have far more consideration for the long suffering share holders who have heard soo many promises with a much smaller achievement. If they do achieve what they have promised and I think they will the BOD need a lesson in how to achieve trust. Perhaps it is the time for institutions to get involved and I believe a start should be made in relooking at salaries we are are paying to board members where the growth in numbers of members have certainly increased.
It is now a bloodbath in South Africa. When will the BOD learn that silence is not golden.
Hard to believe we are getting NO information at all . I don't often agree with Charles but I do agree that at the moment we are over paying board members who seem to not care that they are employed by the share holders of the company. If I get a chance I intend to ask that until they have proved what they are promising they take a cut in salary.
Hi Happydays
I am in full agreement with the points you make but the reaction to all the good news by the share price tells a different story.Share holders are not prepared to give Jubilee the benefit of the doubt that the future looks rosy.
Past disappointments weigh on the share price and we need to see an improvement in earnings to win trust back.
Like most of us that post on this site, I believe that the company will prove doubters are dead wrong but we are probably likely to have to wait a little longer than expected.
In the mean time we need better communication from the company to prove to the doubters that they could not be more wrong.
NS thanks for your thoughts .
I live in South Africa and need to look after my sick wife so no chance of attending . The question I would like to put to the BOD is why, when they have noted that lack of trust in the board (which is obviously still occurring with the share price failing to react to OUTSTANDING news) has been caused by bad communication they have not gone out of their way to correct the problem There has been an improvement but it is the 18th October and we still await quarterly results. I reserve my judgement of the improvement in communication until we get a RNS giving the results.
I realize that takes time but it is an important factor in the hopeful recovery of the share price.
They are giving Bushy & others plenty ammunition to expound their cr.. and I am sick of all the green blocks I have to see on my web site
Mickie If true this is really a game changer. Why hardly any share price reaction from the article? I only hope it is not a hoax!
There has as usual been no RNS by the company so I am not get too excited at this stage
Hi Mickey
We have had enough excuses.I have put so many of my family, friends and clients into the share I am feeling so bad in the twilight of my life to have let so many down after years of success n the market.
Make no mistake I am still extremely bullish that the share will recover and prove that we LTH will do well but I am a strong believer in accountability of directors to their share holders and I cannot stand by as Leon tells share holders he is also amazed that the share price is so low. His failure to keep share holders informed of problems beyond their control has most definitely contributed to the lack of trust. Some metal prices have improved , but Jubilee's price has not.
This to me is a lack of trust with the BOD
Yes Shuvlin
But I am prepared to back up my opinion by buying more shares. I think there is a lot to discuss at the AGM but if the company cannot come up with vastly improved profits this year then we the shareholders need to hold the directors accountable

Thank you for continued efforts. We rather need somebody of your capability on the board as I am now wondering what the chairman is doing to improve prospects . He seems to have taken leave of absence
I only hope that the BOD take note of the 15% drop in the share price and give us some good news soon.
I have no idea why they did not give out any figures relating to the previous 3 months. I am one unhappy LTH
Of course the major problem is not the falling PGM prices. It is a failure with communication .In South Africa the share is taking a major hit.Could they not have given at the same time as the results production figures fr the last 3 months with revenue generated. I think everybody is sick of their promises and don't believe anything Leon is promising.
I must believe that the last 3 month figures would have cushioned the fall
