Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I see it more as an obstacle course to be navigated with an occasional sprint and long slog to a distant star in an expanding universe.
May 2015, my first buy.
You're being overly sensitive DR.
That's your rather cynical interpretation of what I've written DR, if i thought that i wouldn't still be invested.
'The sp has stalled a bit recently'
Not recently, the sp stalled in 2017 and has never recovered, look at the historic charts.
It could be a good buy in price, but who knows cos' it's barely moved in five years.
It's a very slowly moving monthly trader, if you bought in a bit higher at least you have the chance to trade your average down over a few years.
Try not to get too frustrated with it.
Everything looks good, if you're on the bod you're laughing, but as a small time pi so far, it's been a bit of a grind with scant rewards for your efforts.
So far the only reward we've had was a 6p spike, six very long years ago.
I'm not saying don't bother, I'm saying be prepared to have the patience of a Saint.
If so Maxx, let's hope he doesn't perform like a one legged river dancer.
Hold tight mate, just a bit of frustration first, good things come to those that wait.
Unfortunately it helps 'create' a market and it is illegal unless you are a multi-millionaire, besides which it's impossible to stop without having extremely constraining financial laws which would pretty much stop trading for the masses.
What I find despicable is the fact that your own broker can (and does), lend out the shares in your portfolio to shorters without your permission. There are companies now that deal exclusively in borrowing and lending shares, I had an e-mail just last week asking if I'd like to make a few measly quid lending them my shares,
I said 'yes please, I'd love to make up to two whole pounds while you reduce the value of my portfolio to as near zero as you can get it before handing it back to me'.
GLA.
It depends on your view Tymers.
1/3 of the price 12months ago.
Or
10x the price of 13 months ago.
It doesn't really matter what the price was at any point in the past, the past has gone.
What matters now is the future value and i would say that after today that value has been significantly improved and more likely to solidify.
Personally I've been buying on the way down and I'll be selling small amounts on the way up.
If it hits 2.7p, I'll sell some larger chunks, but I'll always hold some back in case of unexpected rockets with the whopping profits attached.
Gla, we're nearly there now, the hurdles are becoming more manageable.
Maybe they're not a doctor, so no patients.
Only patience.
Commented the same fluff as he has in every RNS he's issued in at least the last three years.
Some of his investors are happy with the fluff and enjoy watching their investment shrink while they listen to, and wholeheartedly absorb the swill that you feed them.
Even when you do have spare cash, topping up someone's champagne glass constantly begins to grate when you're not even getting to sniff the cork.
GF, your long suffering investors would like to see some actual progress, or at the very least, a time scale that you can actually achieve.
This RNS reads like they want to drive the sp down. All it says is 'you thought you had a long wait, but actually that wait is going to be considerably longer than you thought'.
Mainly because we've been faffing about with a de-watering permit for 3 months longer than it should have taken and we still haven't got it, or any foresight of when it might arrive. What's more, when (if) it lands we're sending one keen gardener armed with their little trowel to dig the incline.
4 to 5m a week, that's very slow progress, and no knowledge of when that slow progress is going to happen.
Comes up blue, but looks like a sell to me chestec.
They might be waiting for the 'brown envelope'.
A common stopper in commercial - governmental deals/transactions.
Speed of action is directly proportional to the thickness of the envelope.
Allegedly.
Someone doesn't know a thing about investing.
Small top ups on a falling sp + patience = rewards.
That's my basic formula and it's worked very well for me so far.
Zipee - It depends where you work bungle.
LoL, that's been me for about 5 or 6 years now.
One day Rodders, we'll all be miwyonairs.
Is your real name Jeremy Clarkson.
That's a very skewed statistic, 99% of vehicle fires are caused by the electrics.
Nothing to do with the ice.
The only thing that's jumped is the buying price, spreads ridiculous.
