Very good point Jock. The other two deletions from the FTSE 250 showed huge UT's:

ESNT = £7m

STEM = £8m

WG = £7m

All very comparable.

Ken got shares last March (check Directors Deals), so it's a non-event.

He's held nearly 1m of those since April 2024, so that's not new news.

Last two days have seen an influx of huge buys in the last few minutes of trading.... dropping prices all day and collecting shares for some larger orders to fill at close.

Biggest volume day this month... saved for the last day!

I’d normally disregard this kind of thing, but if you check their posting history, they called the CFO departure 2 days before the RNS.

Answer B) Last time the offer price was stated, this time not... no idea if that is a good or bad sign however??

The Board of Wood notes recent speculation and confirms that it received an unsolicited, preliminary and conditional proposal from Dar Al-Handasah Consultants Shair and Partners Holdings Ltd ("Sidara"), regarding a possible cash offer to acquire the entire issued and to be issued ordinary share capital of Wood (the "Proposal").

The Proposal was received on 30 April 2024 and proposed an offer price of 205 pence per Wood share.

The Board of Wood notes the recent media speculation and confirms that it has received an approach from Dar Al-Handasah Consultants Shair and Partners Holdings Ltd ("Sidara") in relation to a possible offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of the Company (the "Proposal").

Wood shareholders are advised to take no action in relation to the Proposal.
