Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
Yorkie, Rob, Englangder. They must be so ferked off they get spotted so quickly now. Well done lads. All their crew will be out in force tomorrow! Thumbs up emoji
I’ve been invested since last summer. Just before the last dilution down to 50p. Had bought at 80p before that. Have last bought again at the 19-2000 range before and after Xmas. Been keeping up to date regularly with the companies going’s on.
What about you numbers boy?
Yorkie. Couldn’t agree with you more mate. It amazes me with all these multi ID’s and other crap. They must have a lot of money to lose to go to all this bother? Surely easier to do some research and invest in companies that you want to do well? Doesn’t make sense to me.
It’s burning “of” cash. Not burning off cash you bot ******.
Is the DBX the only car Aston Martin sell these days? No Vantage? No DBS? No DB11? Did they give the 3.5 million pound DB5’s away for free? Do they not sell any parts or service and repair any cars they’ve sold in the past to make any money? Just asking.
Englangder. Pmsl. High 5, I like. Waa waa wee waa!!
Classic post last night. 10/10.
I originally bought back last year around 80p. Watched it drop to 50p. Bought more. Whenever I had spare cash kept topping up. Watched the Poxy sp religiously like everyone else and went through the ringer. Been here for all the BS, some funny, some stressful as not knowing what to believe. Approaching Xmas was a happy time and nice to see sp head north!!. Had to register on LSE to continue reading share chat so here I am.
Englangder said you were one of his mates on whatsapp and you were a good guy.
Tutter. We’ve had to calm it down a bit this week. Too many people were getting upset . It’s been good viewing though! :-)). Englangder been ruffling some feathers, missed him on here today. His new aliases have had me in stitches.
Maybe a customer could order the car with their preferred specifications first before dealer registers it. I’m just speculating. Someone on here will know more than me.
Then all cars will technically be built to order as well.
I’m just trying to simplify the process of doing it. I don’t know the exact terminology for the transactions/tax/vat etc. If anyone can elaborate better please take over from me. Many thanks.
Dealers sometimes register them so they have one owner. Then, if a customer wants to buy one then they don’t have to pay the VAT as it’s not classed as new. They are still essentially buying a “new” car but at a discounted price. Dealer classes it as a sale of new vehicle. New purchaser gets a new car with one owner on log book. It’s worth less when the new buyer wants to resale (more owners) but if they intend to keep it for 3 years plus then it won’t affect the resale for them by then.
Noah. That will be the main aim for the other range of sports and hyper cars. As you say, limited numbers, high desirability, ground breaking technology, road and track racing pedigree. These cars will be for the collectors. Any F1 success will only add to the prestige value.
DBX are just the people carrier/family car for the Uber rich.
The performance and handling and motorsport heritage are just a bonus.
DBX will be the safe, sporty family car. The other track/fast road cars will be the ones for the collectors and enthusiasts.

I did think you were being mischievous as it was a fact posted by c23. Maybe the people that bought them didn’t like them and decided to sell again after a few months? Some people order cars and re sale them on delivery if the demand is higher than the supply speed (worth more than the original asking price due to rarity) would still classify as second hand. I’m sure I can’t be bothered to go through all the listed advertisements, check the mileages and wether they are private or dealer second hand sales.
Aston Martin could have non Aston Martin dealers that they sell the ex demos to also so they are still sold. Leaving the main dealerships filled with brand spanking new ones.
Looks good for the company.
BB. Tiny and I promise to behave again tomorrow!! Can’t Guarantee for rest of this evening. ;-)))
Snap! Haha
The Danny Devitos will complain ;-))
Tiny. Stop it. You’re not allowed to be disingenuous to posters now. It hurts peoples feelings. And also, please don’t try making any funny remarks. We’re only allowed to be sensible on here now and post facts and nothing else. Any hilarity or sarcasm is banned along with confrontation!! Good luck with that! Haha.
Hi Noah
I agree with you that the results will not be ideal but obviously that is not due to the vehicle. More due to the pandemic and the economic climate. Closed showrooms. And all the other negative impacts on car sales in general.
Any sale of used DBX now is most likely attributable to dealers making way for updated versions. Doesn’t look good keeping same stock on display for too long. People will always desire the new/latest thing. Only natural.
It’s a good sales technique.
Once Aston has sold the car as “new” if it is then sold again it has no affect on the company’s results. New sales are what makes the difference.
Nice to hear from you this evening Noah.
