Thanks for posting those figures.
Very good day on the bb today! Lots of good posts. Enjoyed reading them. Been too busy to get involved.
Ishi99. Loved the way you dealt with C26 today. He will argue that black is white forever though so you’re fighting a losing battle with him. He has his own agenda. Good luck to him though. He definitely puts the hours in!
Richard36. I wish I were as articulate as you. Pleasure to read your posts. You always put things properly in perspective.
Tiny, AML007, Rob etc. Hope you’re all doing well guys.
Same time again tomorrow! Thumbs up emoji
I don’t believe I’ve ever referred to any shares I own as golden tickets. It’s nice to know though that you are on here for me if I need financial advice in the future.
Many thanks.

Yes C26. My wife needed a new car. Unfortunately not an Aston I may add!! Some extra funds were needed to go towards the purchase and as AML is my largest holding and currently my best performing I decided to sacrifice a few shares. I try and keep in the good books at home sometimes! ;-))
JonTaylor and Richard 365054.
I strongly agree with both your posts. Completely unbiased. Well balanced. Informative. Useful for people possibly thinking of investing in AML or people already invested.
Very refreshing compared to some of the nonsense posted on occasions. As far as I can see, the management involved in running Aston Martin now is very much in control and very well focused on its success.
Even if it’s a slower process than everyone is hoping for it’s still going to be a profit making luxury brand car company again in the near future. It’s all still early days but the strong foundations are in place for the coming years now.
Let’s all enjoy the journey!!
Anybody with serious doubts, get out now and find something “safer” to invest in! Stop complaining.
Nite25. Thanks for enlightening me. I’d never thought of the downsides of investing in a company with such large debts. That has previously been bankrupt multiple times and now employs two useless drivers to race in formula one. I’ll take your advice Monday and get out before the tower of cards come crashing down. I’ll probably just buy some scratch cards and open an online betting account and play roulette or slots with my money.
Keep up the good work on this bb.
If you wasn’t here to help other investors then who would.
All the best.
Don’t watch the racing cucumbers tomorrow as you may be disappointed.
Nite25. You’ve used the cucumber analogy before. Have you got a secret obsession about them? Do you keep one to hand for emergencies? ;-))
Is it the shape and feel of them you like?!! ;-)))
As Noah points out. A long article!! Perfect if you’re stuck at home in lockdown :- ))
Thanks for doing that Noah. I read the article this morning and posted the link. I hadn’t realised it only took you to a subscription page for the FT.

Will do.
He can still read the posts. Just can’t post himself at the mo. It will be rectified soon though. (Thumbs up emoji)
Hi Carpy. I was chatting with Englangder earlier. He said he hoped you were doing well. I just had a look at bb today. Seems everything is running smoothly.
SP ticking over nicely.
Not long now until formula 1 starts so will give people a chance to talk about Aston Martin and not just how much they’re glad Englangder got banned!!
GLA AML shareholders.
Philorkil, that’s the spirit!! (Thumbs up emoji)
All teams are ironing out problems. Drivers fine tuning stuff to suit themselves.
The car was fairly competitive last year and now it has even more Mercedes parts/technology incorporated in it.
We will all find out when the first race starts soon enough!!
Not long now!
@philorkil. Thanks for reply. Whole idea of pre season is surely to get used to the new cars and their capabilities. I’d rather slightly slower laps to gain confidence than one of the Aston boys binning a car into a wall or the gravel and unnerving them before season starts!
What went wrong for the Aston lads? I haven’t had the tv on today yet?
Such a shame he won’t get to see Aston Martin back in F1
This year. Iconic man iconic voice!
Hope you’re doing well Tiny. Share price is a bit stagnant at the mo so the nutters come out the woodwork! Personally I think it would be healthy if the price dropped a bit more. Just enough to encourage some more buys. Otherwise it will keep trundling along at this level until any big news or formula 1 starts up.
I’m happy to just leave my holding in AML alone and play about with some other more volatile shares to pinch a few quid here and there.
I spoke to Englangder earlier. He still says it’s definitely not a buy at this price. He agrees with me though in thinking it’s got plenty more to increase in value over the coming years.
Most of us normal people that have been holding for a while and topping up occasionally have nothing to fear.
Still early days in the company’s turnaround.
He got banned the other day so couldn’t post.
He maybe back tomorrow hopefully (thumbs up emoji)
The main objective for branded items is to promote the brand. The profit from sales of hats is insignificant.
If the formula 1 cars do well. People buy the clothes etc.
Hence more advertising.
You are seriously strange nite25. I’d love to go for a pint with you. :-))
Don’t worry guys/gals. Englangder is still definitely lurking.
He’s been enjoying all you positivity today Canada John and Nite25. He told me he’s looking forward to being back soon.
No probs carpy. Englangder has got nothing but good things to say regarding you mate. I think he can still read this bb even though he’s banned. Just not allowed to post.
I’ll let him know in the morning for you.
All the best .
