The decision to make a trade a buy or a sell is done by computer so if the spread is say 7p-8p, then anything under the mid price of 7.5p is quoted as being a sell and likewise anything above 7.5p is quoted as a buy. If the trade is at exactly 7.5p, the trade will be quoted as unknown.....I think!

Ryanair, Europe's largest low fares airline today (Tuesday, 11th March 2008) predicted that Europe's high fare airlines will begin another round of unjustified fuel surcharge increases following Lufthansa's decision yesterday to increase its short haul fuel surcharges by 21%. Lufthansa now charges passengers €17 per short haul flight and €77 on long haul flights despite the fact it is hedged at well below current market rates for oil. Ryanair is the only airline in Europe to guarantee passengers no fuel surcharges ever.

Qonnectis were selected for the IWWE & IRWM Innovation Awards yesterday in Ireland. The winner was due to be chosen yesterday afternoon. Any idea how they got on??

Warthog plc (the 'Company') today announces its interim results for the 6 months ended 30th September 2007. Chairman's Statement The un-audited accounts for the six months to 30th September 2007 show an operating loss of £26,877. This loss represents the cost of maintaining the Company along with its listing on the AIM market. As the Company has not yet been able to complete a reverse takeover or otherwise substantially complete its investing strategy by 12 November 2007, in accordance with AIM rules its shares were suspended on 12 November 2007. The Company is continuing to seek and evaluate options in order that its shares might be re-instated. If this does not prove possible by 12 May 2008 the company will cease to be listed on AIM.

Been looking at this too. Not sure about it though. H1 results didn't really effect the SP as 1/2mn shares were issued as equity. Only 31% of shares in public hands which might mean mass sells if price goes up....who knows...like anything, cd be wortha punt especially if they get the go ahead from European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines. On the fence at the moment....
