All looks good £1 A share and i think will share price will hold petty well because no doubt about the board have now put Aviva in the shop window and will be plenty of lookers
Got be close to suspension
Yeah bit odd considering L&G are up nearly 3% but staying that there only 6 trading days left to full year results so we can expect things to get a bit volatile
Pfc hasnot been a investment since the SF0 investigation broke its only been a trading share now investigation is over and pfc got off i lot better than most people thought me including you would think pfc should be over £2 but has things stand pfc is stll only a trading share not a long term investment lot of companies in the oil sector are recovering well pfc is lagging behind
Surely if its that level when we trade again the share price got to be the 60p to 70p range
Loy of investors selling today i bit surprised by that to be honest ii though they would have waited to see what reaction come from America in next few days US market is closed today early thoughts is that Procter and Gamble might have a fright on thiers hands with Nestle but there also concerns that UK goverment might make it difficult for a foreign takeover
You only worry that you may end with the gsk consumer arm if the government try to make it difficult for the Americans to buy because its has been no secret for a few years they may willing to pay around £70 billion 50 Will not but it thats a sure thing American market closed today so may have some reaction from there next few days
No Nervous Nelly i think you bang on the Americans want let Unilever have it for less than 70billion i petty sure of that
I can remember reading a article back in 2018 by a US hedge fund manager he think the big US companies would paid £70 Billion + for the consumer arm and wouldn't be surprised when the spilt is done that both companies will end up being owned by US companies
Seaking 1 no i dont think so i think Procter and Gamble back 2018 PG was interested in Buying Pfizer consumer business then shortly after US hedge funds starting buying Gsk which the UK market at time basically ingored it
I always said that the consumer business we end up with the Americans Unilever and reckitt benckiser will get out bid all day long has i have said in previous posts for past few years American hedge funds have been petty confident that the consumer unit will end up in America very quickly
You said it aviva is steady a income stock and if you look at the fundamentals of the top 20 dividend payers in FTSE 100 you can t argue that aviva is one of the best i 55 in march i been mopping up aviva from 2018 at average of 356p and all in a isa so my very happy with a steady income share growth shares are for the younger generation
I happy they increased the buy back 750 was not enough in my view would have like if they went to 1.5 but i really believe the bod have got the balance for long term investor s very confident for next year
Quetta86 i been watching and looking to get back in did well on pfc in early to mid noughties scine the SFO investigation broke out in 2017 i was never going to buy while the SFO investigation was going on but the investigation ended and pfc got off a lot better than i thought but still waited to see how they was going to pay the fine got my answer with a successful right issue so nearly ready to invest properly before xmas i believe the recovery will be a slow steady recovery just be patient the decision has been made moaning what posters say will do no good i wasn't happy with some of them expecially telling people to invest when pfc was under investigation that made me boil but that all gone now
Thanks valueplay

Any one got access to live Uk futures before be investing what they are after that statement
Quetta86 you cant blame the poster s on here if you done proper research into petrofac you have easily pick up the warning signs with this share petrofac is a high risk recovery play you should have kown that personally at today price it look s a decent high risk punt
Yeah he hates aviva for some reason i think they didn't pay out him over a claim take no notice of him next year going to be good year for aviva shareholders confident of that
Ant s got disagree with you there buybacks have been successful and some haven'we can go on and on which is best buyback s or special dividends but for me its finding the right balance fo the surplus cash which the board are trying to do this is aviva not some company that been about only a few years
