Does anyone understand why PFD is showing loads of after hours share trades ? There were several after 4.30 yesterday

I have had a go over the last few months. Very exciting, very volatile……just another form of gambling I guess.

Agree.. it would be great to see all the progress that has been made truly reflected in the SP.

No ice cream but the Spice Tailor range here is way more extensive than in the uk according to the wife. Seems to be selling really well.

I am in OZ at the moment and PFD seem to be doing very well here…..Kipling products are very prominent in Coles and Woolworths.

Interesting to speculate why a Dutch investment bank would want 8% of PFD. The divi isn’t particularly attractive at the moment so presumably they are in it for capital growth…….unless there is more to it than that ?

I agree with these comments about returns for shareholders but what we need to remember is that Nissin own nearly 30% of the shares. Are they demanding higher returns…..I don’t know….but they have a seat on the board and have all sorts of trading relationships with Premier, so maybe that is where they are getting their returns.

Will we get a re-rating on the SP this time ?

Remember no divi declaration tomorrow…..unless they decide to go for an interim. I suspect not having just spent £34m on an acquisition.

Having said that, I agree with you that a re-rating is long overdue and will happen soon…..which is why I have kept two thirds of my holdings.

Having said all of that…..I have been wrong many times before !!

I have sold about one third of my holding in recent days on the assumption that they will fall back after tomorrow…..as they historically have done.

But I am retaining the other two thirds in case of a takeover.

£1.13 on 27th October. Now £1.29

14% increase.

Partly due to acquisition announcement and also pre results increase.

If history is repeated the fall back will start on Thursday.

Any views ?

Results are the same date this year 16th November.

Expecting a slow increase in SP over the next couple of weeks followed by a fall back after the results.

Agreed. It sounds like another sensible acquisition which will open up new opportunities for PFD.

That is the question…..Nissin. I guess everyone has their price but I am not convinced they would sell.

Couple of days for the SP

I have just spoken to the Halifax share dealing people…….they are bloody useless.

They have had some difficulties processing the LGEN divi and I might receive it later today………

Still nothing from the Halifax…..see what tomorrow brings

I worked for Premier for many years……remember it was born out of acquisitions from the likes of Nestle and Unilever.

Having said that, I reckon Nissin will sell if the price is right and they can retain their distribution agreements.

The time is right……bring it on !!

I would agree with that if it wasn’t for Nissin’s 30% shareholding.

I think that makes it less likely…..but still possible
