I also added a few at 0.1532 and felt okay with that as it's at the lower end of today. Someone and it could be a group of people may have been holding this back on good news for some time. Maybe until the MDA is released on Songwe.

One interesting fact: on GOOGLE TRENDS there are more people searching online for MKANGO in Malawi and Zambia than anywhere else on the planet. I realise MKA is based in Malawi so it may be nothing. But there again, . . .

I don't think much has changed here since the last update. The next is likely in late October or early November. Somewhere in the last quarter is when any new wells may be drilled but some environmental cleareance and the results of researchs are still awaited. The 24 wells to earlt 2027 still feature in recent news reports. It's a waiting game until some solid news appears. The macro picture where the world needs "advantaged barrellls" has never been more favourable.

My guess is buys outweighed sales today.

That's one intrepretation, that JHI do not have full confidence in the asset. I think more likely they need funds for the forthcoming drilling campaign. They may do a deal with Cataleya Energy and WTE may also feature as a quoted oily in this deal. All speculation, of course, but the impending drill campaign must be focusing minds.

And very glad to do so. With Exxon spudding 24 or so wells over the next 2 years what 's not to like? Why sell for small gains when Exxon is going to invest least £8 billion over that time?
