Sorry - just off the back of some awful investing, been a nasty Feb. Will get back to mro. I'm in heavy here and plan is to leave it until acquisition, now they have confirmed. Can see a good steady rise to end of year. Still seems like no end for Brush but Nortek going very well. I hope they are looking at something big.

Ammu, I'm going to see how my ast holding goes then switch that to pmo. Hoped to see 3p there. Pmo is tempting the hell out of me now. It's seems to have found the bottom despite what idiots on there are posting. Had a good weekend, probably because I don't own pmo. Oil scare stories early next week then fundamentals could massively support a rise in poo.

It seems to trade in a 10-15p range for weeks then keeps stepping up and out of it. I bought a chunk at 172p last year and held it. Looking back could have traded it but would probably have got it wrong and ended up higher average! I am a master at that (PMO 100,000 shares @ 34 to 85,000 shares at 95p.....)

Ammu - my take is it could be good but it is AIM so more likely the emperor's new clothes. I feel it will spike as they come near to production. If it hits 3p I would sell. The LSE board there are delusional, dreamers. Like they say in Wolf of Wall Street - "rich people do not buy penny stocks" I would not buy in over 2.20 b9 - you got to watch these stocks a few times a day, the spikes are often meaningless but I tend to sell when they happen, seems you can always buy back a few days later!

Good call B9 - I am just going to switch off now for rest of year on this investment. On the other side of the scale I am in AST! Like two extremes.

Born - I think this is one of those where you need to hold and switch off. I expect now a climb to 270 by May then a jump dependent on how big what they are looking at is.

Yes - it was actually closer to £30k , three times now I have taken that hit and come back, half way there now. I won't make that mistake again, always going to set a stop loss now on any share I buy for 3% under purchase price. If it triggers move on.

Darkelf - I will go back to PMO but not with the holding I have here. Just look at this share v PMO. Competent board, proven track record and a model that maximises SH gains. Get yourself in here, I honestly think it will hit 300 by June.

b9 - you can't deramp Melrose. It doesn't even people shorting it - they know they will get burned, seriously burned. I agree, it will fall back, keeping it though cos it can pull surprises.

B9 - I think we are seeing a potential acquisition pricing in. However no one knows how big this thing is they are looking at. For me this is a hold. Trading it will cost you. I am expecting the following: 1. Share price spike when they announce target 2. The share price to gradually increase while they are bidding and doing DD 3. Share price to spike once more when no rival bids confirmed and acquisition given green light. I will be holding throughout but I totally get you for trading also! Each to their own.

Target for me is 600 end of next year. Listing is irrelevant due to the buying and selling of acquisitions.

What are we doing mate, investing in a stock that wants to increase shareholder value!?

Its mad! Was expecting 3 to 5 max. Must be cos they mentioned new acquisition was being looked at. Might fall back a bit but that news brings the herd. This is a hold all year and div confirmed. How crazy eh!

I think i will also, but with much smaller holding, genel looks a better bet than pmo. Krg may get investment, article out yesterday
