I now own shares in both. Zen have adopted the same requirements that AAOG could not manage to get over the line.
1. Complete & sign licence renewal
2. Achieve payment of the $5.3 million
3. Successfully hire I working rig
4. Bring Tilapia oil to commercial production
If this hapens quickly and efficiantly then Zen would have made a fantastic deal that the BOD of AAOG could not achieve ( To busy with fingers in the pie ) . Zen need this to avoid a drain on own resources. Lets see if they are a true BOD.

That Angela having done her work and made her profit has now disappeared. Not only disappeared but she seems to to have shut down her account also. Be aware but she can appear under a new name working her magic once again. It is my estimation that it will be on the BB of Zen.

This to go in the direction of Zen. This is the best out come we are likely to get. All our decisions should be based on this conclusion. Anything extra would be a bonus otherwise scraps will be ours.

It seeme AIM has become a get rich quick scheeme for BOD chosen few. FCA need to catch on and create some protection for public investors.

I think the real question here is... Why have SNPC declined to pay the $5.3m knowing full well that they are partners and that it would be in their interest to get commercial oil production asap as they have production targets themselves ? . Something has gone on in between DS Departure and the recent RNS announcements.

Media Speculation

Zenith Energy Ltd., ("Zenith" or the "Company"), (LSE: ZEN; TSX.V: ZEE; OSE: ZENA-ME), the international oil & gas production company, notes the announcement from Anglo African Oil & Gas plc ("AAOG"), and confirms that Zenith is in discussion with AAOG to purchase certain assets of AAOG, but that there can be no certainty that any transaction will be completed.

Zenith will update the market accordingly if and when matters have progressed sufficiently.

Surely SNPC would have not bothered making any payments if they had the slightest inkling of not intending to renew the licence or that the commercial marketing of oil was unsuccessful. This could go either way and is by no means dead and buried as our resident shorter would have us believe.

We get the picture Angela.. Might you suggest we all slit our wrists. It does not matter what you say from here on. Losses are to great to pull out . Therefore why not sing us a song instead.

I do recall a previous suggestion I made to DS that perhaps the discovery was not quite commercial as initially considered his reply was ........"But in the interim the oil coming to surface (nothing alleged about it) and being tested and fingerprinted from the Djeno together with further technical work has led the team to revise the ops plan towards producing from the Djeno, which after all is the real prize here"......As you can see by his response Stating nothing alledged by it. He seemed to go into a defensive mode with that reply.

Then why did they not notify us of material facts
1. No binding agreement with rig
2. ATOG purchase never went ahead
3. Loan to ATOG
4. Payments owed not forthecoming since September
5. Licence state of play
These are all facts they deserve an RNS update.
Therefore do as you say with your pathetic generic reply and inform US ALL.

Tosh why are you bothering. Let it drop. I for one will be topping up further. Those of us who see the bigger picture will mske bigger profits. The short sighted will assist us in achieving that.

I suspect will be a thing of the past in less than 2 years and even possibly during 2020 i suspect. Going from strength to strength and now standing firmly on its own two feet. News flow has the shoots of increasing. This is one of my shares on AIM that i am very happy with. Good luck all and Merry Christmas..

Good point proffit.. Although being a specific date would indicate that a mutual discussion has taken place and probably waiting for all parties to accept or arrange an alternative. Regardless, lets hope it is sooner than later and more importantly in our favour.

I have no idea Curious. I wish i did. There is no point for many of us in getting out now losses are at 87% .I used to make good money years ago on AIM. Decided to get re involved with several AIM companys. All whom have a fantastic plan to make sheds load of money. To date us share holders have only paid their wages with not one coming to fruition. AIM is very high risk now days and is fed by greed. Needs far more regulation. The only material facts any of us have is what they want us to know, apart from the chosen few of course. Was not attacking you just stating a possible reason.
