Yo Castle. I know you've covered this before but I've forgotten your response. There are 2 Castleford Tigers on ADVN (one with a 1 in name). The CT on ADVN without a 1 keeps advising to sell TCG and has been a member of ADVN since 2001. The one with a 1 has been an ADVN member since Dec 2018. Which CT are you? TV

I'm not surprised about Standard Life, it's too risky for a pension fund so they will have set criteria that will trigger sales to minimise exposure. Be interesting to see if they've sold all their stake or only part

On the chunks of trades I've just been looking at they seem low volume trades, possibly PIs or a bigger outfit mimicking PI behaviour. Whatever is in play at the moment appears +. I have a feeling we may get some
+ news on airline offers by end of week, I admit this is supposition on my part but possibly why BoD has been quiet whilst they finalise a big + announcement on airline to give a whopper boost to confidence and at least for the interim improve market sentiment.

I'd love those **** bags from Citi to get a kick in the nuts :oD. Their own wrecking ball landing back in their Knackers.

I don't read it but I have alert set for any news on TCG. The idiots the Star 'rag' had some very disparaging rubbish on TCG collapsing and causing a massive butterfly effect on Airlines and Airports. The 'article' is getting a 404 error now so hopefully the Star legal people realised they'd overstepped the mark.

CITI CLSA and JP Morgan advising Fosun, well there's the smoking gun. They are trying to make this a self-fulfilling prophecy now and as a main stakeholder Fosun would possibly get dibsies on an administration carve up.

The brand is getting trashed. I think the package punters are going to bail on this first, then companies are going to tighten payment and then the banks are going to move in. We need the BoD to instil confidence ASAP on Monday but please no PF on the telly as that will kill off the company ASAP.

That Sky article also states someone close to TCG saying:

"The hedge funds which hold short positions have a vested interest in seeing the shares collapse."

This is true when you look at the US Hedge Funds taking a short position on TCG.

I feel we are going to see a battering again on Monday but if we can get some + news from BoD we may get some breathing space Monday pm.

If we can weather this turbulence and get some further + on the airline sale(s) we can start to drag ourselves out of the debt mountain.

I've (paper) lost too much to sell as not much left to paper lose. However, I would strongly advise new investors to be wary due to what many have already said - at this current time if you but shares in TCG it is 100% gambling and 0% investing.
