If you try a dummy sell (at least with HL) you get 2.5 not 2.3 - I think it's a smokescreen to tease any nervous prospective sellers to get a price better than the published one to make them think they are getting a better deal and the weak ones will sell

Popeye, I think it's red herring the volatility is causing a the spread and I think the MMs are trying to slow down the buying whilst scratching around for stock

I'm getting coiled spring vibe, hopefully I'm right

With the widening spread by dropping the offer price I think we are seeing MMs have been caught with their pants down, I don't think they can effectively cover the buys and be caught with losses, they want to slow down the interest

Weird. HL currently have this at 2.4 to sell, I think it's a squeeze or a delay at HL. Trend seems to be upward, but it's bouncing sidewards at times

Shriminator - possibly. I would expect a dip first thing as the MM playbook will be to rattle holders to release shares with which to re-make a supply. They'll test stop/losses as well. After that a potential rally. If it hits 7p tomorrow it could tickle the tummy of 9p or 10p - if it hits 10p then that will really be interesting for the end of week. GLA, about time we saw some good news in the London markets.
