Speedy, Bully. Thanks for the messages. I guess many investors walked blind into the crash of 2008 and the tricks the banks play mean they hold the cards. I hear Goldman’s have been off loading recently and I am not smart enough to understand the effect of endless money printing except it doesn’t feel right!
Speedy. I am fascinated by your insight to the bigger picture and looming effects on the stock market. Am I correct in thinking that you foresee a general market downturn that could be significant and affect all stocks but the effect will be a move to precious metals (and possibly Bitcoin) that will mean companies like GGP will prevail. In the meantime do you advise that some de-risking of portfolios by moving to cash is sensible or do you believe there are some safe stocks that will be immune to even short term volatility. I appreciate that all investors have to make their own decisions and I would not hold you to anything you say but your opinion is valued.
It has been a high volume day. It appears on many AIM shares that delayed trades often show up after 24hrs or so. I would not be surprised to see some whoppers from today show up after close tomorrow. Does anyone have an inkling if this is likely?
I am enjoying watching 88E rise and have missed the boat so far but very tempted to join the party. How confident are the experts on this board that this will be a commercial success. I appreciate that nothing is guaranteed but out of interest what are the thoughts on success:failure ratio. Is it as high as 80:20?
Is it best to wait until after 8 am to place an order or put a fill order in now? Should one wait until things settle after the first 30-60 mins? I am sure many will wish to add tomorrow even those with large investments here already. Thoughts and advice would be appreciated. Good luck all.
Is there a consensus on what will follow? How will the MMs play this out if no further rns early next week?
Is the best strategy to hold (even hodl) and ride it through? I can not envisage a drop from here but it could spike to entice sellers and I feel that selling and then hoping to buy back lower is a risky game here. I appreciate we all have to make our own decisions but any advice and other opinions welcome.
Viking I agree. For a long time this was by far the best board on LSE but in recent times it has become infested by trolls and detractors. We can’t let them take over or win the battle. Keep the faith all long term holders.
The longer this goes on the more transfer there is from private investors to institutional investors. Note how the trolls come out in force to encourage the drop. Ultimately it benefits share holders and the company if shares are in sticky hands. This is all just part of the game. Ultimately the fundamentals here will shine through and propel the share price up. Just not sure when that will be. All in my opinion obviously.
