Took profit elsewhere this week and closed some losing positions that I thought were only going to get worse. My paid advisory service are expecting a massive (15-20%) negative movement in the US index within the next 7 days. If that does occur, the main indices will see similar falls and very few stocks will escape. We may well be one that does. I've taken a short hedge on the WS index as I did pre lockdown. It could get ugly but it may not. GLA

Great day today wasn't it? My holding went positive. Wasn't expecting that.

I took 10% off my lot at 83 today but needed some cash to pay some bills. At one point, it was heading for my best trading day EVER and then the wheels fell off. Tomorrow is another day. GLA

June 2017 for me at 22.88. Added at 18 with the offer later that year and had all but forgotten about them until this year. I don't actually remember what influenced my original purchase but if this does go to 200, that moves me a few years closer to early retirement. GLA

Just juggled my portfolio for a last add at 54.7. SP already above that in 2 minutes. Is this about to blow or another false dawn. Going to be an interesting day. GLA

Hi fella & lancy geo, hope both of you are well. Both the price increasing on AM and Moxico are positive. AGM is moved to June 23 but not clear what resolutions will be discussed yet. I guess we'll find out in the near future. It's patience for the long game here. We may one day be rewarded. DJF

Still not had all my Calidus allocated. Last few I bought just before the demerger are not yet there. If it were easier to sell, I probably would have done as need some cash to keep afloat through the summer. Good rise obernight though as you say. I didn't see the driver for that?

Swerves, had a little dabble with SRNE in my Spreadbet account Friday afternoon but settled for a weekends beer money as I hadn't done any research and didn't want to risk a gap down Monday. There's room for multiple winners. Just hope we're on the right horse.

Nige, I had a couple of bad years but now do OK. I find the key is patience. Most new day traders need to press buttons. The key is not to press unless it's the right one. I get better at that and it's a nice suplement to other income. The last couple of years, I've made the lions share of my day trading income shorting the FTSE100 index whenever it gets too high. Has been like shelling peas. Much tougher now where it's miles off it's highs. Keeping my powder dry for the moment. Take care.

Nige daytraders are a bit like bikers - there are old bikers and bold bikers but not many old bold bikers. Day trading isn't so hard if you're playing both sides - lots of us doing OK or better. ITV is in my long-term portfolio and looking very sick. It can stay there until it's feeling better. Plenty of good short-term day-trading plays around. How far are we off dropping out of the FTSE100 I wonder? Might add a few if I have some spare cash but 3/4 of the FTSE100 are also recovery plays. GLA and good weekend.
