Excellent update and very good signs for future recovery. Costs under control and cash balance up. All with very limited income from travel sector. SP is still very low and still below end of November levels but I expect a steady improvement through 2021. Have made a modest purchase this morning and will add further funds permitting. My average is still a very long off current levels but happy to hold for the longer term.

Majority of FTSE100 are up. Biggest impact is oil this morning. Weighting for BP and Shell is high.

Lack of an EU deal on services will hold the banks back. That's not new news.

Am holding Australian Gold Miner Calidus Resources (ASX:CAI). It's doubled in a year but will probably do again in 2021. Value is impacted by exchange rates but worth a look if gold is your thing.

Correct I think. US and China deals are WTO. The EU are in the process of finalising the agreement with China. UK of course outside of that so still WTO.

Pretty much all the deals up until now are rollover deals replicating the previous EU deals. Anything more will take time and expertise.

How about (from BBC business today): One analyst, Shanti Keleman from Brown Shipley, put the falling UK bank shares down to "no agreement on financial services equivalency in the Brexit deal".

I'm seriously underwater on Lloyds so would dearly love a good recovery but wishing for one doesn't make it happen.

I think the current price has as much to do with Brexit as COVID and the deal achieved will not suffciently support a recovery in the financial stocks. Despite that, I think the current price represents a good entry position for a long-term hold particularly when dividends are back in play. I have an average of 50 at the moment but no funds to add more. 40's in the new year but not expecting major fireworks without solid positive newsflow.

Seems forver since markets closed on Thursday and an interminable wait until Tuesday's re-open. Given what we have been through this year with ODX, I'm trying to keep expectations in check but it's proving difficult. What can we expect Tuesday - spike on open possibly into the 70's, some quick profit-taking and rising into end of day? Or can there yet be another curveball? Exciting times for the company. My first purchase into ODX was as far back as April 2015 at 18.5p. It was a sleeper but not any more. GLA

Mine was credited directly to my account. Didn't notice for a few days but spent it on a few Sunrise Resources (SRES) shares. According to the ZOX website, we'll get our Moxico certificates in January. I still have some in a CDF account (showing value of .45 / share). Waiting to hear how IG will handle that.
