Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
is the lid finally coming and we are going to see a decent share price, strange that is coincides with the ZCI AGM
highest they have been for a couple of months and we are up
over the last few days
again, very nice to see
rising nicely today
I think they said they were basically holding onto the cash in case other investment opportunites became available, so I would guess that the final divi will be based on what ever cash they have available at the time
Yes the interim dividend has been cancelled and with be combined with the final dividend
I thought it was 75% and I didnt think there was any requirement for them to buy back the shares they dont own
I think as ZCI own in excess of 80% any resolution will be passed as they have the majority vote
I dont know ZCIFAN reckons that ACI will buy the rest of what they dont own and 14p has been mentioned, but I dont think they need to do that as they own enough I think to delist it anyway and take it private leaving PI's with shares in a private company that will be difficult to trade. I have been in the same situation twice before, the first I had Man Utd shares when the Glazers took over and they purchased te entire share capital, the second I owned Sheffield United shares (team I support) and the director held over 80% of the shares and he just delisted from AIM and took it private and now I can only trade the shares on matching basis through a stockbroker. So I dont really know what the rules are and whether if taking a company private you are obliged to purchase the outstanding shares.
I have just read the agenda and it looks they are reserving the right to issue more shares presumably to ZCI and the last part reminds us that ZCI have right to convert its loan facility into ordinary shares which will take their holding to 90% on top of the new resolution (by my calculations if they all happen then we will have 1,616,765,650 shares in issue, which ZCI will hold just over 90%) and as they currently hold 80%+ the vote will go through. My other concern is that they have enough holding to take the Company private (if they wish) and we will be left with squat apart from shares in a Company that are no longer publicly traded.
for me as well to break even and get out
And i guess the cash that we did have is now going to be used getting the Planet Oi mobile thing up and running and I honestly do not see it adding any value
what else can we expect the directors have got no clue, cannot get the $1.5M still owed to us by Narang and then did the reverse takeover deal with Mobilewave which operate in a competative and fickle market of mobile phones applications and there offering Mobile Oi, is on the lines of Facebook and Twitter (which are already well established) but with the added twist that it can be used a marketing/promotion tool offering rewards to users. I invested in FIE on a punt originally based on the $1.5M due and it was investing in companies involved in the renewable energy field and now it has completely moved away from that, but as I am sat on a loss which doubled this morning on that fall I am stuck !
it doesn't look like we are going to carry on the rise from yesterday
in 2007 there were about 139.5M shares in issue, today there are around 823.5M, so be careful with your comparisons
I would prefer to see the bid going up, preferably to 6.5p so I can break even and get out
the ask is up to 4.75 but not the bid is still 3.75
it's up
what has happened with the licence we were supposed to be granted in July ?
