Busy doing what? Producing panels which are not selling, or which are selling but communication is terrible?
This again

@thompsontwin It's not at all clear that they're down to 0 though? They could very well be following your trajectory. The funding pitch finishes at the end of July, so they will receive the money somewhere in August/September probably. The size of the bond is 500k btw.
@Campomar I agree. You can mark your calendar on the 31st of July when the pitch closes that if the crowdfunding is not successful Verditek can pack their bags
To add; one of the directors is putting in some money as well, which shows confidence
My two cents:
Advantages
-No current shareholder dilution
-Tapping into the popular green bond market
-Broadening the investor base to include bond holders
-At 7% interest it is probably cheaper than the cost of equity
Disadvantages
-35,000 interest expenses (maybe some tax shield which decreases this)
-In case of bankruptcy there is an additional layer before shareholders which get compensated
Well, at least they're becoming active on their socials again. Today another post relating to one of their resellers. Who knows.. The only positive about their commission sales team is that when there are no sales, there are also no costs. They might be able to hold on a bit longer
I might have missed this being shared on the forum, but I just noticed AFC included a 'Research Feed' on their website under the 'Investors' header. It includes all analyst coverage on the company. Its a pretty nice feature for some quick-access to coverage on the stock
I'm going to stick around a bit longer. I still have some hopes. Apparently, Verditek is doing some kind of business. Foir one they are providing solar panels to this yachting company https://flin-solar.de/. I just cannot get a read if they are making any sales through these resellers. The BoD is awfully quiet
I would like to do the same, but I would love some confirmation from their side on orders first. Who knows how far this can slip if nothing develops
@red "but you wouldn’t hold such an event without some half decent updates" to be fair that's not true. These capital market days happen all the time without any actual news dominating such a day, either positive or negative. When the investor base turns large enough it just becomes good shareholder management to give investors a well-organized platform to inform them and let them ask questions. Ofcourse you have the AGM which is more focussed on decision-making, but capital market days often provides information about the current state of the commercial business, basically giving information related to the return investors can expect. The question you can expect to be answered is; now I got in, why should I stay in?
In any case its good to see this forum more active, with new investors coming in. Welcome all and enjoy the ride
@TPKart I base this on the following:
At 31 December 2020 they had 1.7m in cash. Their annual cash burn was 1.8m last annual report (higher in previous years) and about 0.9m over H1 2020. This might have slowed down somewhat with a change of their sales approach and impact of COVID, but I don't think by much. I fully agree the stockpile they have can be a great source of revenue, but then they have to start selling first..
My average price is 8p and I would love for them to do well. I really think they have the potential to do so, but with a lack of news time unfortunately is against them. I agree fully that it won't take much to get this going again, but then something must get going at least

Hi Filament,
Been here since December, about 50k shares deep. I intend on holding. My initial plan was to keep increasing my position but given the silence and lack of deals and the estimation that they will run out of cash this year I am not as confident about the terms at which they can (if they even can) raise new funds
