Tm I don't blame it will inevitably go sub 400p again so the day traders will take advantage again to sell on a 4 or 5 pence rise and the whole cycle will repeat itself ad infinitum I believe anything less than a dividend increase will be viewed as a disaster and if the dividend is held share price will get hammered

The share price has now fallen by 31pence from the highs of the election result more than the full year dividend and no end in sight for the continued share price weakness to continue Aviva was cheaply valued at about 429p just after the election result it is now more cheaply valued

Nuri the weakness in the ftse is not all down to the coranavirus you are the one who wanted aviva to fall below 4 pounds so that I you could top up your 93k holding you got your wish but you topped up on bt lol however I do agree with you that it is madness people selling shares in quality UK companies just because of this virus which is mainly contained in china

I agree i think there is just no catalyst for the share price to move forward the market is just not interested in the fantastic yield because you have to get the timing right to make money from aviva down 23% over 5 years more worrying 22 per cent over 2 years the full year results had better be good otherwise it is going to struggle to even get past 415p

The last two times it has risen by 4p or more this month it has fallen significantly the next day allowing day traders to ride the swings can the pattern be broken tomorrow not so sure

By then it will probably be at 350p lol the rate at which it is falling at the drop of a hat
