Ffs Aviva has dropped 3 pounds a share from 550p in may 2018 to 250p now when during that time it has increased eps what is wrong with Aviva undoubtedly covid-19 will affect future profits but to knock 150p off the share price in about 4 weeks is ridiculous

All the talk of Aviva being cash rich and being deeply undervalued was being done by aviva ramper in chief nuri123 has not posted here for a while no doubt nursing his losses

I think the government policy is not of containment but to let the virus spread in a controlled way so that the general population build up a resistance to this virus unlike the policy of China italy and now of Spain only time will tell if this is the right policy I personally think it is a dangerous policy and now am running scared of getting the damned virus lol ,

Yes I agree but people will sell at a loss out of fear especially at times of market crashes and people will need money for various reasons deposit on house divorce settlement allowance for the mistress lol so will have to sell at a loss

Judging by the ftse futures very little the ftse will fall with the Dow but will hardly rise when the Dow posts big rises how else do you explain that the ftse is at the same level 20 years ago while the Dow powers ahead when Trump was elected the Dow was about 18000 now it is over 26000 a fantastic rise

The low share price of 340pence means the dividend yield is now well over 8 per cent for new people buying now giving tulloch the excuse to cut the dividend even a 30 per cent cut will mean a dividend yield of over five per cent
