Very simple, we all rock up to the AGM with the top Fortnum and Mason's hamper MEM and the meeting descends into pure debauchery.
GRH you may look forward to his reply the rest of us look forward to him being blown away with the rest of the detritus that are polluting this board.
They think if they can post enough rubbish then any of the salient posters views will be lost in this heap.
Just waiting for a pullback to add some more. We are above the key moving averages and motoring along nicely.
Likely base here for a little bit and then get another thrust up.
You have a very cynical mind... it will serve you well.
They got a whole big piece on oil on the cover of the IC this week. We are still flying way under the radar. They are talking of the North sea and Serica which is a decent play when you look at the whole portfolio.
But look at their tax on north Sea assets and then PRD Morocco assets tax. We know which regime gets it and which has not got a bloody clue. Only going to get worse under Labour with their grandstanding. Poor people are the ones who are going to get hurt the most by this...
He was actively trying not to look to excited. Doesn't need to the RNS's are doing all the promotion for him.
We don't qualify as a minnow and look at the drills that have occurred and the ones to come.
MOU4 "With the Jurassic we have too much gas for CNG..."
"We hit the edge...." What happens when they hit the main target? The calculator could take a bit of a battering.
I have a feeling my fourth last top up is happening...
Is it a Ferrari California for GRH and a few of the boys... or do you go for a classic 1930's Alfa?
The fact is that in a month or two we will have the testing results back pressure wise. If they work we get the first re-rate... Likely an increase in resource assessment.
Then there is MOU-NE and a basic free shot on an absolute staggering amount of carbonate.
We also have MOU-2 sitting there which can be realised with its top seal.
Then there is the free shot with the oil that can be sold off if present.
Then there are the Trinidad opportunities to hit...
As long as the pressures stay good everything else is just a free shot after another..
Ireland looks locked but we will see. If the proverbial hits the fan then maybe they may start moving that up the agenda...
GRH's call option is correct but these are multiple call options within one purchase.
You can calibrate how well your share will do with the size of the troll attack.
The larger the attack the more reward available. Last couple of days has been staggering.
PG and Lonny wanted for obvious reasons to keep as much quiet as possible. My cousin has a private equity company in America works with some pretty heavy retired traders. If this was in their sphere they would be all over this.
Thanks to you and the guys as I said before I don't think too many PI's got blown out this time. The troll repellent that was administered did its job. But it is not easy fighting that paranoia, however, good the first RNS was.
For me what kept me calm was the words "Moulaya fan extended".... was literally kissing the screen.
Don't think they are paid to short.. Many are paid to get price lower so the guys behind can load up.
Rinse and repeat...
As Roy Scheider would say "Rob we may need a bigger calculator"....
GRH,Keith , Jimmy, BRV , Robbie et al thanks to you guys for helping shareholders not get get paniced out of this by the troll squad.
The info that you put out there allowed people to think this through rationally and accept the level of risk.
Much appreciated.
There have been some salient posts here specially from the usual suspects around geology and others not so though old hands know the score...
But this gets my gold star on sheers psychology and sense with regard investing...
We have held above the 20 dma for a few days now at £1.16 that was the resistance on the way down.
Metrics for the future appear strong. JAdams how is the Bloomberg data holding up?
Cheers mate
Very big implications when you have Algeria right on your border and working the pipelines...
Another reason why CNG is not discouraged.
Cheers caterham. Nice to get info from people who have real knowledge of the issues.
Gg is a little troll that's why he pretends Keith said nothing.
Could be to do with ONHYM they supervise what is put in the RNS's. They may wish to firm matters up before other parties wish to enter.
They will wait till rigless testing. Although we are already in talks with various outfits. Remember Paul and Lonny have extensive contacts.
Once the testing is ok I think we get serious offers to gey bought out and get a dividend. They are going to do very very well from it if the testing holds up.
Then again they can take it to CNG....
All the way they are looking at providing optionality for themselves and shareholders which makes the asset that much more valuable from the others. If pressures are consistently high the major can send it through a pipeline no further than 5 km away. Big advantage...
The CNG business as Paul said means he does not run the risk to the same extent with pressures down the pipeline that other O and G companies have had. All the way providing more options for the company and for potential buyers.
With Lonny we have a guy with all the contacts in that market.
Novums place holders may be taking a dump on us today...
There's gonna also be nervousness about negative whispers from MOU-4.
The quiet period is the hardest. Soon we get a thumbs up or down... I think Keith was right we should have maybe done a little more raise and finish off MOU-2 just to soothe nerves... and give us a bit more optionality.
However gas wise we have a decent amount already with 1, 2 and 3 now it is testing that is key...
GRH I hope you have a word with the powers that be over this. We all remember the CLN. That won't be repeated, but, a little advice in their shell like would not go amiss.
Better earlier than later...
