Agreed, but.....
1. A serious investor will probably be more privy to things going on in the background than the wider market, which might make the company attractive, even in its accounting state.
2. Diamonds are worth nothing in accounting terms until sold, yes, but I think we all believe that they're going to get more than Boart value, yourself included. My point was entirely that they have been assigned no value in the accounts!
3. As you say, relationships are intangible. But we don't know the value of these and my point was purely that they can't be valued, either up or down.
