This is great news. Let's see how the market reacts and how quickly. Buckle up everyone! :)
For those getting excited by the link posted, please note the December 2013 date of post. An important piece of information to consider.
I do however hope TRX gets some positive traction soon. I just don't see that post being very relevant today.

Very interesting indeed. Looking forward to the next shareholder update. Fingers crossed.
I read the bid as well progressed and not about trying to start a bidding war since the rns validated the press leaks of £100m. Hope I am wrong:
"The Company confirms that it is in discussions with a potential purchaser to sell its wholly owned subsidiary, Irosta Trading Limited, for approximately the indicated price"
Is there any official news/RNS for EUAv2 or are we reading between the lines? Keen to do some research if anyone can point me in the right direction to get me started. Many thanks.
Glad to hear you have had initial success from this.
For everyone's clarity, the purpose was not to cross ramp another share but to provide a possible reason why may have seen investments move elsewhere and posisbly explain a little drop in an otherwise positive few weeks for 88E.
I am invested in both but I want to keep the 88E boards focusing on 88E. Thanks.
Possibly a few have picked up on the COPL discovery announcement earlier
Hopefully more focus on GLR too
Thanks for posting. Wonder why the location is at the 4 mile mark and not the 5 mile mark. Does that leave room for merlin 2a/b or merlin 3 in the future?
Fingers crossed we cross the finish line with this one and power does not fail on us at the final push.
@oiltap is this why it mysteriously dropped from 1.40 to 1.30? I see no trades (yet) that would influence the price like that.
@Ella. Thank you.
I've been poking around a lot more recently and trying to understand where GLR are at present. Like others, quite a bit concerned on lack of comms but equally CBs interview with proactive last time round was very helpful. Can't expect constant comms and just pleased he and the team are working hard in thr background . Pleased with the rns response today. Best of lucky all!
Members only when I checked. Can anyone provide a quick summary until I can get access and time to watch the podcast in full? Thanks.
@phoenix thanks for the addiotional info and perspective, much appreciated
@Ella that was my thoughts, don't count on it and it is to pretty up the deal. It's a stretch. Also, would it not make more sense for Sandfire to just acquire GLR instead of pay 80m? Surely that would be cheaper :)
@Who how do we determine a contained copper find or a reserve? Does extraction also need to be done before the success payment is triggered? I guess my lack of knowledge is on how they determine this 'first ore reserve'.
@chri5 yes looking forward to the drilling results. Feels like it has gone very quiet and I was half expecting something sooner following the positive interview with proactive investors a while back. Fingers crossed we get a positive RNS soon
RNS seems to have landed positively, lovely. Can anyone help me understand more details on the success payment please? 10-80m is a lot and when I see figures like those I immediately think they are extreme stretch goals, certainly the upper 80m figure. Are we talking 3+ or 5+ years away to potentially realise this? What do we feel is the probability of actually triggering the success payment? Thanks.
From RNS :
"Success Payment: a one-off success payment is to be paid to the Company for the first ore reserve reported under JORC Code 2012 edition on the Included Licences which exceeds 200,000 tonnes of contained copper (the "First Ore Reserve") in the range of US$10 million to US$80 million depending on the amount of contained copper in the First Ore Reserve (the "Success Payment"). US$2 million of the Success Payment will be held in escrow for up to three years pending any claim by Sandfire under the Licence Sale Agreement."
My isa is set to auto reinvest dividends. Under normal circumstances this is a good thing. Anybody had a think about this scenario yet for such a potentially high dividend pay out and what might happen to share price as many look to cash in? Wondering whether I should disable auto reinvest dividends. Thoughts?
Are folk here buying across asx, LSE and otc at the same time? I only hold on LSE, is there a risk that otc will fly leaving LSE and asx behind? I guess what I'm trying to understand is there a risk of missing out more depending on what stick exchange we are using? Thanks.
Thanks, appreciate the pointers, happy to read up more on this, just needed a few pointers on what to look for and terminology.
@Robins I'm already in, bought last year around 0.80 then watched a quick spike then a tumble. Just a month or so back I grabbed a fair whack for 0.29 and I am delighted. Looking to put another lot in then that's me done. Sit back and watch the show :)
I've just placed an order for 88e on LSE but since the market is closed that will execute in the morning. My question is will this execute at the closing price of 1.75p since I hope to be towards the front of the queue when it opening or will the MMs mark this up for opening based on how asx performs today? Thanks, appreciate and advice to the less experience. Good luck all, I wish you good fortune ;)
Very similar to me yesterday, I've tried to weather this storm for a while now but it got too much and I though I was buying in at its lower points of 0.17p. I sold out my full holding and a significant amount with a very similar loss %. It came down to a complete lack of trust in BoD and for too long. They've talked the talk, but not walked the walk. I rewatched Andrew Hall and Prelea on proactive investors most recent videos and the body language is just so off for me, something really wrong and scripted there.
Utlimately I was holding on in hope and against by better judgement for too long. Watched fantasys posts for a long time thinking he was being negative and that it would come good but he was right, months ahead of me seeing this.
I'll keep an eye on this moving forward but the BoD need to be replaced and significant changes need to happen for me to reconsider investing.
Wishing everyone who has more bottle than me good luck!
