Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Put it this way, no one is claiming any buys here!
So our friends couldn't have had an impact. TBH, traders have generally always done well here. If you believe the directors and Altair, then you have a chance to make at least 50% before THEY break even. DYOR. GL.
King5hott, I have done some more digging and come to the conclusion that Ebioss want totally out.
1. Recent restructuring sees Sanchez leave Ebioss, new directors, new company name. Sanchez, if I remember correctly was earlier man on the gasifier tech. They've also sold off some of their assets (AGM rns).
2. Further probing, I believe www.akiles.eu is the new company. I checked the IP address of the host, it's Sofia.
Based on 2) above, (and if true) they are changing direction completely. The stake/Bond-holders (and there's lots of them!) come from quite diverse disciplines.
According to Akiles.eu, "Investing in companies: Talent, Positive EBITDA, Low Debt, Recurrent Cash Flow"....i.e., NOT Eqt !!!!.
So, if that is the Akiles we are talking about, these guys are off to pastures new. IMO.
I have emailed Akiles.eu and see if I get a reply.
Mark, at the time someone posted a reply from IR. Yes, we all agreed that the shareholding info confirms company is aware of the EBIOSS position. Also, the original Altair block disposal, Ian stated in an interview that it was taken up by an insti, yet not TR1'd. Just a shame that FCA will only make an example of 1 in 1000 company in blue moon.
I believe Bigdouble sent an email to FCA.
For information only...
If anyone thinks NFCP LLC is imaginary.... Confirmation of it's existence on California Secretary of State website and that the year end filing was submitted on 8th August.

King5hott, This was a restructuring GM and approval to go ahead with name change + LSE listing. The next stage is declaring the strategy. Can't write it off completely until we get to see their admission documents.
My personal view is, they'd probably go it alone. I'd like to see a revised shareholders positions from EQT.... or a TR1 indicating they are OUT.
Yes, King5hott, scan-read the hole thing. And all the resolutions were pre-declares. The only addition is giving the authorising the directors to raise (I think up to 150 mill euro's) over 5 years. That's a norm at AGM....not the amount though.
Ha Ha King5hott, I was just constructing the following post:....
WTF was the weekend's posting was all about. Result: No one slit their wrists, virtually no trades this morning, no movement in SP. Could've utilised the time more usefully.
Anyway, hope peeps managed to read the two posts I made in the North Fork and Ebioss threads. Our guest chose to create over a dozen threads to NOT make a point. For the 1st time in my history of BB chats I had to use the filter option. Bliss.
Ebioss 2 x RNS from the General Meeting now available.
https://www.bolsasymercados.es/mab/ing/EE/Ficha/EBIOSS_ENERGY_BG1100005179.aspx
As expected, all resolutions approved. The main RNS is the earlier one and I note the following key points (translated):
Luis Sanchez left/replaced.
Change of name to Akiles Corporation approved.
Approved LSE listing.
Agreed to the share capital increase.
Giving little away re their holding in EQT and their intentions.
Regardless of whether we get any news from the company, worth keeping an eye on NFCDC next meeting scheduled for 26th August, with Biomass plant again on agenda.
https://northforkcdc.org/?p=2339
A reminder from their July meeting minutes:
"Biomass plant—update: Approval was given for increasing the output to two megawatts (from one). There needs to be one more approval, before we proceed. On August 28, there will be an escrow closing for the full financing of the plant."
yeah, nothing new there for me. Almost all the companies I ever invested in, the key directors, chiefly CEO's and Chairmen have all had fingers in other pies. However, Ian Price is still relatively young and I'd like to think, given the Opp @ being a PLC CEO, he'd put in a good shift here. It is his main source of income (my guess), ditto Madden. From cost savings and the placing, they've raised much more that traditionally needed for the year. I am of the opinion, the so called advanced stage projects, as well as North Fork, will demand greater resources.
We'll just have to wait and see.
Cavendish, a genuine question for you. I need a view from the outside....
What do you make of Directors taking their 40% salary @ 0.33?.... also, Altair, whom we've all despised for their loan profits, now sitting on a loss from the recent placing? Like I said before, I've never known Wonga lose money! Can you see directors lowering their standard of living for long?!
Mark, I contacted the IR, Nomad and the company. Only got a BS response from the clowns at IR.
Ebioss are not that squeaky clean either. Over 36 hours since their general meeting and no formal (RNS) announcement. No wonder they want to join the LSE but be headquartered in Ireland. Seems there's fair amount to leeway on regs out there.
Hi Ian, That was my speculation ever since they declared their intentions to list on LSE, unless there was to be either a merger or some sort of an RTO. Since they shifted over 200 mill at the last count, I am guessing they're cashing out completely. Common sense would suggest no PI's or one of the biggies is likely to take this sort of a hit @ these low levels. That leaves me pointing at Ebioss. Doesn't help that EQT somehow evade the TR1 rules for every 1% drop in their holding.
I woud
l wouldn't ask the IR guys as they think it's RI's panic selling....LOL!
Smoking, I am all for debates. Cavendish was/is civil, so no harm and having another view just helps you refocus and verify your own research. Hopefully, it aids others, those that are on side lines. Just shows though if you take your eye of the ball, it's easy to go astray. LTH's are fully aware of the issues here. GL.
Wouldn't surprise me if we get an ens stating that Ebioss no longer have a notifiable interest, can only assume they are still exiting.
