pg and others not posting here now still share their stuff on twitter and ggpchat so nothings been 'lost' and easy enough to copy a link here if someone wants to make the effort :-)

easy enough for some to say just filter people when it's not you being attacked or your hard work being ****ged off as ramping on a public board where the mods let rude and disgraceful posts stay up, no one should have to put up with it because this site values traffic over moderation.

this board has hit a real all time low last few months and now fully indistinguishable from most other boards on the site, many are following suit and posting or reading here less - no use pining for the past, there are other platforms where serious investors who like to collaborate and research don't have to put up with being ****ged off by trolls while the mods turn a blind eye.

i fully support his decision and had enough myself of this site. lse still does well with arranging town halls and webinars so well done there but as a chat forum, it's lost its usefulness for those of us who want to discuss and share information.

Good work by a Bottle, PaddyG and a few others in identifying GGP applications for three tenements in Ashburton with interesting neighbours in Wyloo & Fortescue.

That problem was solved mate, plenty of sticky threads on GGPChat where many of us collating and updating info such as Z's roadmaps, JC's shorting info, Bottle's and other interviews and notes, satellite surveys so they don't get lost in the dross and posting other info, we want to catalogue to go back to for easy access :-)

@MH01... Well let's not be unfair to our intellectual friend Fred Dobbs, check out his posts when he created his account in April.

Seems he was Mr. Happy Clappy as what does he actually know about grades, intervals and so forth besides pasting out of RNS's but constantly questions everyone else's credentials.

He loved Twiggy's presence and now SD's selling us down the river to the Ozzies.

Someone posted here a few days ago, Newmont only get interested and involved with Tier 1 projects.

Tier 1 projects have to be found, what if Newmont could acquire a company that does just that, discovers the next generation of Tier 1 projects?

What would that cost them? and how could they, the world's largest gold producer, say no. CB recently quoted, win, win for GGP.

I agree, you are no expert, and I disagree that it's not a lot to get excited about.

If we had drilled nearly 1km down and found nothing, then yes you may be right, but you're miles out in your interpretation of this significant RNS.

You would never find this intercept in a single drill hole 3-4 in wide, on if's own. It belongs to a huge system, you must think bigger.

Dont underestimate the implications this has with regards Telfer.

Rudall has just potentially given Newmont a new dilema with their thinking on GGP, Hav and Telfer, but maybe not, what do they do now?

The market wont know what to do with this today. One certainty is this, you don't find that concentration of gold at that depth in isolation.

Its only 20k from Hav, take a look at the map, in particular, Scallywag and Telfer then join the dots. Are we sitting on a gigantic gold/copper system as never seen before?

Started a thread on the GGPChat forum where people can post their theories on what the NCM/NEM deal might mean for us or just post in this thread as some obviously getting annoyed as they did with the Option Exercise :-)

Another factor to bear in mind is where in a transaction a Valmin compliant valuation is utilised - in the true sense vs the way it was built into the Option Exercise where an adjudicator judged both parties own valuations vs building their own - the report is usually not published publicly and much holds true for the work conducted under DD etc. for shareholders in NCM/NEM.

@sisu - It most likely was incumbent on NCM to provide an updated data set to NEM on all assets as part of the DD process along with other conditions, but an MRE?

Perhaps they provided a draft MRE incorporating June data as surely not time enough to get it approved as JORC compliant or perhaps playing devils advocate, they do have one they'd finalised with an earlier cut-off data.

NEM have all the resources in-house to make their own analysis and conclusions from drill data and would also be a part of any thorough DD they need to perform internally to close the transaction. Especially given you can build various conclusions from an identical data set and still get an MRE approved as compliant as it's not a manual but a guiding set of principles.

I'm not sure that a provision for NCM to provide an MRE (JORC compliant or not) would have been a mandatory requirement, an updated data set for sure...

And yet Evolution and Northern Start at Diggers and Dealers alongside saying not interested in both assets or there are other assets they find more of a closer match for future plans/portfolios by another source - it's all speculation at the moment and Evolution being interested was a guess by one of the hosts and goes against what they said at D&D...

- the official line from GGP is that the MRE is being built and the plan is to try and have it to hand for the ASX listing

- the timeline seems feasible to me if they choose to include an MRE with an ASX listing

- Shaun's explained why they've chosen to wait until now in previous interviews, what your opinion is of those decisions is your own business, to date I agreed on the reasons he didn't and agree that now we need to go ahead and release one based on what I know or assume in the background

- How much credence you put into his statements is entirely up to you to do so and then act upon.

- We'll find out in a few months time when things play out, like it or not, we're unlikely to get much more detail until an RNS comes out for the restructure proposal and/or prospectus being lodged i.e. the CORRECT way price sensitive information is made available vs being told in an interview

- GGP decided to implement June data into the MRE and I suspect only lately been told by NCM that an update wasn't being included for ANY assets in their FY Results (Newmont may well have been involved in that decision)

- I've taken a stab at trying to identify why we're getting some of this vagueness in my original post

- As Hippo says for all your apparent mistrust of the BOD you seem to have claimed to have thrown a lot of money at GGP of late

- Indeed I state that IMO no reason GGP can't have an MRE ready by the time the listing is actioned based on an understanding of most likely sequence of events currently

- What I said was unrealistic is your expectation of the amount of information and detail you want seems more akin to an insider than a shareholder

- I've also outlined in some detail some of the factors that I think might be leading to some of this vagueness from my own interpretation of events

- I also state that I'm not happy with current situation or the vagueness and to repeat I am trying to make sense of what may be some contributory factors causing it

Things are vague unfortunately (I agree with Trippy on that regard) and that is partly because there is a lot going on out of our control with the NEM/NCM deal and a major JV partner putting that transaction ahead of all JV partners needs. We're seeing the cons of being in a JV this year, as Ace said its put a spanner in our works from a GGP perspective.

- He's said the plan is to try and have an MRE update in place to utilise for the ASX listing and we know it's being finalised after adding June drill data, some of the technical review etc. is done and it's more than viable to have it in place for an ASX listing IMO

- Now perhaps there are other things going on that may dictate this, a big IF but if there is a deal for Telfer/Hav in background going on with Newcrest in earlier stages he might wait to see how advanced things get before deciding to release an MRE that helps push the price up by adding commercial value through a resource growth and increasing the amount of ore in higher ranked categories

- He MIGHT be waiting for a hypothetical deal of some nature to be agreed so he can use the ASX listing to help leverage funding, but in both cases we won't be allowed to know until an RNS posted

- The plan at THIS moment seems to be for a restructure vote and lodging prospectus/ASX listing application before Q4 and I'd estimate 6-8 weeks before GGP are able to list after the prospectus is lodged so approx. late November if they go right up to end of Sept

- He's made his case for an ASX cross listing in many interviews such as mandated buys, increasing insto's on the register and increase in demand for shares generated , go to GGPCHat and you can read these in various interviews and then post opposing arguments to specific benefits given

- perhaps you can detail what the costs would be in listing through research etc, be helpful if you were more methodical and detailed so a reasoned debate can be had vs a stream of consciousness where fellow posters then have to point out facts and statements made from previous interviews that anyone can research very easily

- Shaun has previously stated some funds interested in GGP won't be able to invest until GGP listed on ASX

- Again, there are restrictions in what a CEO can divulge also causing some vagueness but for sure many inc. me would love more specifics now

We're not going to get the level of detail you want, it's unrealistic in many cases so you'll need to make your investment decisions based on what you do know and how you interpret it - that's the choice we all have. Can't say I'm happy about it either but it is what it is as a shareholder vs insider :-)

Shaun did say they'd prefer to have an MRE update for the ASX listing ideally and that's what they're working towards if possible. Obviously an MRE is a lot of work but it is already ongoing and if plan is to lodge prospectus towards end of Q3 then timelines still allow 6 to 8 weeks into Q4 to have a completed MRE before they'd likely be ready to list anyway.

@Toffers - you really should know why he can't state what you're asking he do so in an interview... you seem to have some unrealistic expectations of what he can do against the regulatory restrictions he has.

@Scardey_Cat, it's likely that you're closely linked to Chris and perhaps should have made folk aware of that in your posts and heavily biased. Understandably I'd add and can't be easy for you.

Sadly some folk invested in Dev will have made losses they'll never recover from, I feel for those whose retirement and life savings have been obliterated and I suspect that the major shareholders you hint at did act in self interest and perhaps are the ones who brought AAQUA into the picture and also involved in ASLR and a few other companies which all seem as if they're leaving a trail of devastated shareholders in their wake while seemingly keeping their own necks out of the noose.

What you’re suggesting is these major shareholders caused Dev’s demise and it was not unavoidable, so should they be held to account? Should the BOD for not perhaps performing enough DD in that deal and also allowing Veative to make an exit and then somehow manage to not get paid?

Perhaps CJ aways has had the best of intentions (I think he most likely did until his hand forced) but when you lead a company the onus lies on YOU. He failed himself, the company and shareholders and the question is... did he and those in charge do anything inappropriately by intention or through incompetence? Feel free to explain how their recent actions through The Inspirational Learning Group (which Dev had bought out) seems to have been sold off before liquidation with all of the business that is left in terms of contracts and clients while leaving a shell for liquidation for creditors and shareholders?

Be it incompetence or intention, members of the BOD inc. CJ should be considered from being disqualified from ever leading another firm should anything come to light and it's not his first instance of winding a company down I believe. Should signs of fraud or corporate malfeasance be found then all should get the letter of the law applied to them.

To all here, if you have concerns, contact the appointed insolvency practitioner Poppleton & Appleby as the company is being wound up in the first instance. In time, if unhappy with their handling of the liquidation you can raise a complaint to The Insolvency Service.

I know it's tough but be specific, detailed and as unemotional as possible about your concerns, sadly I suspect it is unlikely that capital will be returned as the discarded shell unlikely to cover creditors and other higher ranked debtors before it gets to shareholders - but if things were not done correctly - at least there is a chance of having those who were responsible be held to account.

I'd have thought Wyloo are more likely that Rio to be involved in a hypothetical deal related to Hav/Telfer and I really want to know where this Magical and Mystical Land of Rio is that you can borrow 100% of funds for any planned acquisition :-)

@Toffers you're entitled to voicing your theories but those on RIO are based on the most tenuous of links and very large assumptions with little logical reasoning and seems as if you've not looked at their corporate strategy too closely - hardly surprising you keep getting pulled on it as you're not explaining your theory well and it seems to depend on a very long sequence of lower probability events than some personal vendetta against you.

But as we've all learnt, expect the unexpected and perhaps your 'frequencies' based technique proves more accurate than old fashioned logical reasoning :-)

You also regularly seem to find reasons that 'we' should vote against the ASX listing? Are you generally opposed to it for some reason on more specific grounds than SaS making a harmless reference or your desire to see an MRE before listing (a view some share TBF)?

I'd have thought you'd also want to see the proposed restructure and prospectus too in helping you decide what to do?
