Jokes aside - Stevomining - how on earth did you not sense check when your 'cracked phone screen' indicated 0.7 vs 3.7........you should be on top of your investment to have a clear idea of potential funds to some accuracy closer than not being surprised at a huge discrepancy. That suggests to me you didn't have a clue what teh funds might be at, simply becuase you don't relaly research anything in any depth - happy to have plenty of strong opinions though somehow.

Busy few days so missed a bit of fun watching the action, a great end to the year ahead I sense - have a great weekend all (german shepherds too!).

I love UFO silver but as Nap says this at the present is the riskier buy - but also more likely to give us more percentage gains due to this.
UFO I am hoping by EOY 2021 have maiden EH results and then in 2022 more exploration to hopefully expand the silver and find new PGE mineralisation zones as per Bill's theory. On Hammersley projects we move through expanding resource/reserve estimates and feasibility stages during 2022 towards production in 2023 at some point via standalone or perhaps a JV.
GGP soon to have a PFS and MRE update by EOY 2021 for Havieron and then DFS in 2022 and hopefully decline also hits the ore body next year. Juri JV seems promising and perhaps the new information in regards to nickel will enable better success with pinpointing mineralisation at scallywag too to give us some exploration upside there too. enxt year.

Thats the thing Turbo for sure, I did my buying all at low entry points with both GGP and UFO, generally always do this for explorers as even the best are so volatile, once I find one I like, I just build an early position so it is easier for me to be patient. You can see how quiet the GGP board is now as well - interest has waned in most explorers for now but at some point we'll see a continuation of the PM bull run IMO and a real run on miners just as in the past. God knows exactly when though lol
Not sure about ASX and TSX listings as both are strong mining jurisdictions so we'll be competing against a lot of strong contenders for investor money and from what I've seen their listed explorers are just as volatile, I watch a few out of interest in reading about their progress etc. to learn more about mining and also some GGP nearology plays like Antipa, Artemis to see how they fare as success bodes well for a district scale theory etc.

2021 has been painful for the likes of GGP and EUA too, it's not just us continuing to deliver good news but not see SP growth, so I am less concerned than if say silver was at 50 USD and the sector was buzzing, complete opposite at the minute and also some investors concerns growing in fears (whether justified or not) of market correction/bear market scenarios.
Happy to hold into 2022 with the amount of exposure I have presently and wait for the right market corrections to start attracting investors back to explorers, by then we should have even more evidence around the prospectivity of our Oz tenements and I also feel top level jurisdictions will be of more importance than ever in the years ahead, as they are set up to support ESG requirements which are growing increasingly important to attract investment and also will matter more in terms of where companies using the products are sourcing their supply from, as they too will need to advertise their green credentials in relation to supply chains to attract investment and good consumer PR such as major jewellery chains etc.

We also need to conduct Diamond drilling and enough drilling density to recategorise the resource estimate to indicated as we move along and eventually measured to help attract investment and perhaps JV interest as inferred is the lowest category, it isn't just about increasing the inferred resource - especially if we want to go into production ourselves.
Another factor is that not many in the sector are doing well, asset prices for our Oz assets not so great at present and some are seeing these price levels for a while. I don't think listing on ASX or TSX would do much either, just need to be patient as UFO proves up the assets and hopefully asset price outlooks and sector sentiment drive investors back into juniors.

I'm assuming because 'being' is used in place of 'has been' that testing is still ongoing but been a success to date.

It does make sense to carry out substantial testing from the CRMC perspective before committing - still - perhaps this could be communicated more directly to stop the whinging lol

Chris2 - whatever number Max were to say he owns - you would dispute - so a pointless exercise.

If you look at the latest ASPI futures report you can see they have various scenario's playing out for iron ore at the minute so definitely best to factor in more prudent valuations that are on the low to mid end until we see strong signs of a best case outlook.
Other factor is probably around another 18 months or so before we could do a standalone niche operation based on the 20 month estimate in late August, we need inferred to move to indicated and then measured resource estimate etc. and feasibility studies still to then be able to start production.
And IMO we also need better PM and sector sentiment to help us get those really big gains back on news but in the meantime we are doing really well on the fundamentals side with proving our assets up, add some exciting news from EH and 2022 could be a great year, think by early next year we should have all of the above in our favour based on what the fallout is with Fed taper plans and all that jazz :-)

I am expecting lab results by end of year perhaps Jan next year if labs still really stuffed Tuff for EH and Bill in his latest interview is hoping feb\mar next year for the next set on our iron ore if everything goes to plan.
Of course we may get unofficial updates such as XRF readings and core pics too :-)

Depending on whom the 'client' is, it should be a huge catalyst - certainly my expectations moving forward :-)

Takes time for the funding to be translated into actual projects perhaps though Max and when USA picks up demand they'll use up more Brazilian supply perhaps,I'll look into wher ethey source most of theirs, although if true, this could be a a good thing as that perhaps counteracts Braziilian competition as they iron their issues out (lol pun intended) , as their increased supply will be used by America?
African supply coming onboard later this decade seems to be less of an issue in the amount they might be able to supply and there do seem to be serious cost and development issues in some of China's plans reading the ASPI report.
@HH - True, more I look into it , very hard to predict what the price will be reading through the latest futures report from the ASPI (and detailed within) but business planning does require you have to look at varying scenarios and plan for them as will the scoping studies, so a valid discussion point for the board :-)

Timely post as just been reading article linked below Max trying to get my head around the vastly differing outlooks for price and the article explains why this might be very well IMO - certainly so many dynamics around iron ore supply, actually really interesting.
Bill's current view of CAPEX requirements and the attractiveness from having higher grade ore with the huge focus on ESG globally should insulate us somewhat from the more pessimistic outlooks I feel.

I remember Newcrest's General Exploration Mgr. Fraser at Diggers and Delaers talking about using XRF and machine learning to identify and rank potentially large deposits by analysing Australian public geo-chem data and planning to expand the program to other jurisdictions. Machine learning is also being used to identify basic structures lithology to help focus efforts and move away from metre by metre logging too by their team.
Also interesting, they're using Truscan units as part of the core logging process to photograph and scan cores to gain real-time metal values during drilling to enable real-time decision making of drill planning and rig location to get around the lab issues.
The technology and techniques will be adopted down the chain I am sure, and that the Oz drilling season will give Intertek a chance to catch up with the backlog in Q1 of 2022 so we should hopefully be back to normal turnarounds by the time next years drill season kicks off :-))

Personally nothing against him, it may not be him but he has a previous instance of engaging in deceptive infantile behaviour so should expect to be judged for it.
