You think people should work longer than they currently do , have less holidays than; they currently do, be entitled to worse sick pay than they are currently entitled to, and take at lease a three year pay freeze ? 156 hours a year more hours to work while on the same pay and frozen for min 3 years. The company are trying to force this onto field staff with the threat of fire and hire .
The strike however is only for the threat of the fire and Rehire to be taken away . Then to re-negotiations.
The office staff did agree to their new terms and conditions but they are substantially different to that of field works and be under no illusions about whether they will strike.
Big if they go down the pan as you put it , averaging down won’t be helping .
Only middle and upper management had been offered redundancy packages, no redundancies have been offered to field workers - only fire and Rehire on a lot lesser terms to include much worse redundancy terms on new contracts. I’m sure they will start to offer field works redundancy once new terms have been forced upon them.
One of the biggest assets a company can have is their employees, Chris O’Shear and his team have treated their workforce with appalling contempt and continues to do so. People are now leaving , some of their best and most experienced workers have and are handing their notice in due to these conditions. When they have gone you will have a workforce of monkeys being paid peanuts to save money. Will that work though ? I’ll leave it in your hands.
That’s why the priced dipped to daily low at that time.
That trade was at 11.40 just not reported till after end of day.
GMB to vote on strike action if (and they will ) members vote to turn down offer of new contracts with substantially less benefits and more hours for same pay . Centrica has issued fire and rehire to ALL British-gas employees.
I don’t think you have any idea how it works , any offer has to go to the share holders to vote on . The AA as you put can’t just “sell at any price”.
For every buy there is a seller for every sell there is a buyer , usually is down as a sell is the price is lower or a buy if it’s higher .
ABC don’t seem to agree with you James , their still buying in .
Don’t they have to declare it as a short though ?
FCF sinking fast ? I’ll guess most of that was spent as a one off making the business Covid safe.
Insurance side 11% growth
Pension deficit down by 130 million. Some good stuff in there , especially given the times.
Another 2,000,000+ for Albert Bridge Capital LLP , increasing their % bit by bit . Positive sign for me.
Albert Bridge Capital LLP Still adding shares , all be it a small amount. Still looks good.
