Thanks Zoros. Yes I agree with both points you make. I have sympathy with whoever is putting the note together as it is a moving target, I would prefer to wait for them to make an accurate assessment than have to review a week or two later. Thanks again.

I also feel a positive broker note with a revised sp would do as good. I know I have said this before and I also understand that we don't know what is in Hav yet but it does seem a long time coming.

Lazypunter. I am with you I prefer the jumps ,although most of my work is with flat horses as there is more money in at as an agent. I think we should revisit this in a few weeks when we see how things are panning out, this will give people time to think about it too. I haven't checked it out in a while but Paul Nichols used to buy in the spring and look to produce them for NH flat races the following autumn. This was a long time ago though.

Adz,. Thanks for that, a good explanation. Thankfully I don't usually get involved with the horses once they leave the sales ring anymore ( I used to break and school) and it was 10 years since I was an owner and I was in it on my own. It is great fun but people need to be careful. I was at Tatts for the October sales and even though footfall was lower they still went for good money.

Novtrad. You are dead on. I have bought some very good horses that have done well for other people.. A few year ago I decided to buy 2 for myself, both flat horses and both dusters. I was convinced that the had everything but they had nothing. Just the way racing goes and I don't think I would do it again. Unfortunately the first was killed in its second race over hurdles. Very sad day.

Adz2020, Why not Middlehamparkracing , can you explain? There are lots options so you may have other suggestions. The reason thought the suggestion was ok was because most people are novices and they would do most of the donkey work for the syndicate.
