Ian67, why wouldn't a long-term holder look to earn some rent on their asset by lending out? Especially if longer term they are considering adding and so are quite happy to see a lower sp for now?

I don't feel sorry for them at all but expect some volatility as they play the buy now/sell the spike game to try and recover some losses before the share price settles down to the new higher range

I think I just want to enjoy the fact that the troll is gone - I don't know of anyway to self-delete an account so completely so LSE took action - why they did, FCA interest or just volume of complaints and reports, doesn't matter to me.

The good thing is that the share price is trending up, the sector is in fashion and the company prospects are solid - whether there was abuse/manipulation it doesn't matter now as it has been overcome anyway. If there was and a certain short company gets into trouble, that is their problem.

Let's all put it to bed and focus on any news next week, the shareholders' visit and feedback and the AGM and not mention it any more?

Well with the way the other stocks in the sector are taking off - it looks like confirmation of a FID on one of the big ones or a few Hydropulse contracts will be enough to light the blue touch paper.

I think there's a little bit of profit take on a near 10percent rise, nice payday for the traders, plus a tree-shake, plus possibly a bit of short action to try and trigger a sell-off on the raft of mixed-bag lobbying articles yesterday and today. Nothing to see here, really.

Yep, likewise, broker ratings should be viewed with scepticism, they likely have an agenda too, however, it is reflective of the improving sentiment.

I also take your point on charts but they are a useful tool to analyse what is going on and help to counterbalance the emotional responses to the rollercoaster, at least for me. Restore a bit of objectivity to subjective responses, even if illusory. Having said that, I repeat my statement that it is currently a thing of beauty and I will enjoy my cuppa.

On the visible long-term trend (since my post fell in the thread cull) the share price is now back squarely in the middle of the long-term uptrend channel.
