Having seen where we've come from over the last 6 months or so, I'm not sure we need to become the sort of bedwetting holders that need GH to 'Confirm / Clarify' something to make us sleep better at night

UFO do have major mining assets, however i believe that GGP is a poor choice for a comparison.

GGP have a major doing the drilling work, and that major will also be doing the minor. Their progress at the moment is supercharged compared to how they were at the beginning of the year.

Thats not to say we couldn't do the same thing, its just comparing apples to apple pie at the moment

@paddy - i I guess we could also have the situation where if our SP has doubled, but out weighting only goes up by 50% they might have to sell a quarter of their holding to get back in line with the weightings

willconquer - Its not a linear thing. It'll also depend how the other shares in the fund do over the period too. If they all go up by the same percentage our weighting will remain the same

threeturn - Thats my plan too. Lots of good future divi payers at bargain prices at the moment. Its a good time to load up.

That said i also intend to have a few small scale punts as well for the fun :)

Schlemiel - Its important to set targets, and to stick with them if you hit them rather than to make decisions on the fly.

It makes sense to upgrade targets sometimes, but it should be done in advance of the existing target being hit, and thoroughly researched.

Changing your sell target when it gets hit is an emotional decision and can just as often be the wrong decision to make

Damo - ISA is only available from 18 years old. If you mean a Junior ISA you can only put about 4 grand in a year
