Buysellrepeat - I have 7 posts, and 18 green lines on my screen
This is nothing to do with the 5% which is with newcrest.
This is to do with the 145.5million shares that were due to issued to the previous owners of hav when a decision to mine was made. It has been replaced with 139 million shares now, but fully locked in for one year, with restrictions on being sold by the company broker for the second two year
HL will
@J-A-B - It helps that the majority of mine have been tucked away in my pension so i can't access them for a good few years. Even the ones in my ISA are a long term hold simply for the amount of free cash that a gold miner throws off.
I do have some fun punts going on alongside on other shares though. Those give me the excitement, these give me the security
It all depends on our own mentalities J-A-B
I look at this as something that'll sit in my portfolio for the next 20 years throwing off huge dividends that are 20-30% annually of my buy in price, let alone the capital appreciation that it'll give. I have as many shares as i want, so i don't care what happens to the sp, as i'm not going to be buying any more, or selling any.
Traders looking for a quick flip can have all those worries
Newdealz - Its the same across the market. The good companies have been beaten down alongside all the bad ones. Now is the time to be adding long term holds to pensions at crazy stupid prices for the dividends
Paul - Thats all well and good to say. But my screen is currently 50% green lines, and 50% people responding
All thse lovely people that haven't posted here in the last month just show up to tell us how negative an RNS is
Some interesting news dropping tomorrow perhaps?
There is someone desperate to buy in if this is the quality of trolls that we're getting now
I have plenty at an average in the 230s, but i have no worries about this.
I'm not going to be averaging down or adding more, as there are so many good value stocks around right now. Now is when you set yourself up for the big gains over the next 2-5 years
Wookie - Its a good target audience though. If it costs too much to go out, more people will stay home gaming
Plunder - They confirmed that the main reason they didn't pay the dividend was because they weren't able to pay divis to about 30% of shareholders due to sanctions on the payment platform
Belgrano - Fair enough. I on the other hand only want cash paid into my ISA or SIPP
