Was a general comment about using loans for investments rather than your specifics.

I imagine there are a lot of crypto bros who used loans to buy over the last few months. Thats the other side of the coin

This is a spectacularly bad idea. No stock is guaranteed to only do well. If it goes bad you end up losing money, and having to pay off a loan, taking chunks off your credit score

Slim / slim / rocket - We're all in different places. I wasn't working from a high average so was more than happy to load up. I did very well when we had the spike to 3p a year or two back, and always put cash in when we drop to this level

To be honest. While i spend a lot of time reading the boards, my plan at the moment is to ignore the day to day price, and just buy the shares that i consider to be good value. I'll set limit orders to sell at certain profit points, but otherwise ignore the prices after i've bought. The sp is a vote of what people are currently willing to pay, not what a company is worth
