The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
To be honest. While i spend a lot of time reading the boards, my plan at the moment is to ignore the day to day price, and just buy the shares that i consider to be good value. I'll set limit orders to sell at certain profit points, but otherwise ignore the prices after i've bought. The sp is a vote of what people are currently willing to pay, not what a company is worth
And more importantly, why wait 24 hours to tell us?
Guys can we please stop the cheering for one side of the other in this war.
Its really not a good look
dickie - the world has undergone quite a lot in the last month. The key thing now is not to make emotional decisions, which is a lot easier said than done when you're looking at large red numbers in your portfolio
dickie - why the obsession with a massive raise now? He's confirmed they're funded for 18 months.
Especially after accusing the people who were saying they'd buy more at 0.5p as derampers. What you're posting is no different.
Bill is convinced there's something there in Mexico. Personally I'd rather trust our BOD, and CEO -The GEOLOGIST, to make the decisions on where to work.
Its not like he's not got people on the ground in AUS working on Hanc*ck. There's a good chance they're waiting for the results from EH before they decide where to drill next. Personally I'm glad they're also working on Mexico, stops us being a one trick pony and being devastated if one of them doesn't work out
I'm not deramping either. I've got a good sized holding here, which is smaller than i would have liked due to some punts on shares hit by the Ukraine war.
I'm happy with what i have, but if it dips further i've got profit elsewhere that can be brought here
For a company which claims not to give financial advice, they're sailing pretty close to the wind sometimes.
You think they'd have learnt from the whole Woodford debacle
Where did you see that message?
Right. The US, UK and G7 should come steaming in and get stuck into the negotiations?
Given Putin's pathological distrust of anyone outside Russia, and today's claims that NATO were ready to invade how is that going to help anyone. Hes likely to shut down more if that happens than if Erdogan continues
Chatroom - They're more likely to do something about energy prices or cost of living. That will have a more direct impact on voters lives
That 256bil estimate was for the monster IPO they were teasing to get you to sign up
Thanks Belgrano, hopefully the 'special military operation' will be done within a week or two and we can just be paid cash in September with the interims
