Trouble for me is i have about half a dozen stocks which i think are seriously undervalued, so deciding which one to top up with pension contributions is tough

If you think its undervalued then that's when to buy.

Bamps - To be fair they've increased the interim and final divis by quite a chunk from last year.

While i agree the special doesn't help with the swings, it does help return value to shareholders, without hamstringing themselves to increase the regular divis too high. Hopefully next year will see another increase in interim and final and a corresponding reduction in special
