I don't think a deal has yet been completed because they would announce it, no?
My initial guess was they had difficulty closing the Dec 17 accounts because something is in play and they don't yet know how it will turn out
A variation is they do not want to publish the accounts at Dec 17 because it might blow someones cover
Therefore they extended to June 18 to buy time
I hasten to add I have no inside knowledge , just speculating

It would appear that is the most likely explanation however the RNS did state " the delayed completion of a transaction" so that implies it is not done and dusted which would be the only reason for not being able to state an opinion

I doubt change in accounting date has much significance, usually it's for some admin reason
The significant thing is they can't sign off so something big is in play

it is rare

There are occasionally reasons where you can’t finalise accounts
That is when something has happened post balance sheet date which would have a material impact on a readers understanding of the accounts
If that situation exists then to issue the accounts on time, the auditors would have to qualify their opinion

This was my last investment of 2017 and so far looking to be the worse I think I have discovered purest Green

Morning All Just to say thanks to Intheno I have been invested here a few months now was also in MARL for the final 18 months although never posted GLA

I was in for a year or so and cut my losses back in March but been keeping an eye on it since for signs of life Agree with all the sentiments here this plan smacks of Mr Micawber but as noted below appears little reason for confidence very sorry for all investors here better luck elsewhere

Quality asset here and for JV to be so ebullient speaks volumes. I think the word is getting out now and I hope we see and rise and hold today

Agreed I am new to this BB but have been invested since March, hence most times underwater but held and been steadily averaging down with an eye on the end game. Wasn't exactly the plan when I invested but I do think this is a quality play so decided to see it out GLA
