Probably totally wrong, but if inflation goes up, US interest rates will have to go up, making the dollar stronger, thus making it and gold more expensive. Does that then not put pressure on the gold price to drop? A question for the more informed.

A well grounded cautious approach Wmsjames - I am in the similar camp. The board is all about a views and assumptions and folk are more than entitled to have theirs. IMHO we require more data (which is on its way) before any potential deals may come - if the data is good like you say, the longer they wait, it may strengthen our hand. Don't disagree E1- however we just have to be patient. With further resource updates etc and increased QTRS of free cash flow coming in , we will get there in good time. But it ain't happening over night. Steady as we go is what I like.

A question for the more informed. We know the production numbers were for Dec quarter were better than expected. What are we looking for which can move the needle tonight? Lower Aisc? Where they have managed to extract the the gold from, new area within telfer ? Higher grade? Something out of the ordinary? Answers on a postcard please. Thank you!

Appreciate the constructive reply E. He was a marketeer and promoted GGP well, raised funds when able to get that drill into the ground. Anyway that is history. We have a CEO maximising the opportunity that lays ahead for GGP and drilling the hell out of Telfer, and we haven't even started on the crown jewels.

I know you may disagree with me Element and thats fair, but I still think GH has to take some credit. Yes Callum is the geologist, but we really don't know the full story and conversations that were had before we struck HAD05. Furthermore GH must have been involved heavily with the first right of refusal scenario in the JV. When GH openly said he was not the man to take the business into mining, do we know or not if he recommended SD for the position? If so that is worth some credit. Could have terms been better, probably but at the same time we don't how much SB bullied GGP at the time. In summary, and only my opinion, I think calling him Judas is unfair. Whatever you think of him GGP struck gold on his watch.

I think thats a fair assumption amongst many Touk. If a BP has said we will take the 6000 license but only if they have a stake/say in 6103 then that may take time to finalise. The only way to expedite that is if there is competition for a deal. CC may have to postpone any deal to release first clinical results of 6103 later in the year to obtain more proposals. All very subjective.

I do hope we have multiple BP involved, H1 is the time for a deal, end of, in my opinion.

Amongst the usual bickering, day in day out. Time to reflect as we approach GGP's anniversary, taking over the Telfer mine and drilling its first oz of gold. From having feck all in the bank, we now have after one year the best part of AUD1 billion cash in the bank. That is quite something! An exciting HAV FS to be released before Xmas. It's been a long road, but fair play to the Board and MGT focusing and working on the longer term bigger picture.

Well I asked ChatGPT to compare the average XAU/AUD price Q2 VS Q3 and it came up with a rise of only A$154.05 - or 3%. Obviously the recent surge has been mainly in September and last couple of weeks, however I would have thought it was higher than that. Anyway if we keep at this price or higher for Q4 that will result in a hefty increase.

Just to add, I think it is to my knowledge the first time she has delved into any detail on a potential partnership. Am going to bookmark this for the future. Or be completely wrong!

Just played back the presentation. CC really can't hide her excitement and her personal "vendetta" against cancer. She certainly wants to unleash the beast. I know we have been here before but at 27.20 - developing a partnership with another oncology drug - BD team working on it. Its definitely a hint and quite telling, are they in the throws of finalising an agreement? Time will tell.
