There won't be a dividend for quite some time. GM has explicitly stated they are looking for acquisitions. They are a growing business and have far better things to do with the cash than give it to shareholders.
The problem with any director buys now is that it would essentially mean there is nothing to report for the foreseeable that would impact the share price. So I would take any director buys now as a bad sign for any DHSC contracts we are hoping for.
I completely agree with you. The silence is deafening. As shareholders, we have the right to know what is going on in the company. What is the investor relations department actually doing at the moment, other than reading what I imagine is a significant amount of angry emails from PI's.
Thanks Wilson, but it doesn't really tell us anything we didn't already know. Everyone is scratching around trying to join the dots in order to try and form some sort of idea of what this all means commercially. I know the standard response is to be patient and all will be revealed, but I don't see why NCYT can't issue a consolidated RNS clarifying all the contracts they have recently signed. Individually they may not be material, but one RNS combining all recent contracts would be material in my opinion.
I guess I am just frustrated at watching the value of the company reduce near enough every day despite all the good things they seem to be doing.
I think the ODX announcement should be taken as a positive for NCYT. It shows discussions are ongoing and news of phase1/phase2 could be announced in the not too distant future. Hopefully, that translates into an uptick in the SP as people position themselves in expectation of the announcement.
I think that was just the potential total value of the contract, rather than any confirmation of phase 1 extension or phase 2 uptake. It does however serve to remind just how lucrative that contract will be if/when it is secured.
Are you looking at the UT? That is not a single transaction but rather a balancing of the books at the end of the day.
A nice little gap and go would be a lovely start to the week.
IG don't let you put stop losses on many AIM shares, that is the one downside to trading with them. I just use price alerts. Get it straight to your phone with the IG app. 2 seconds to log in and sell if the alert is triggered.
Just to confirm, the base grades (diesel and petrol) are pretty much identical across all suppliers. It is the additives that differentiate the quality and performance of the fuel. As for the bio fuel that is added to the finished product, they are significantly more expensive that the base grades, especially in the current environment.
