RE: Long term20 Jul 2022 02:19
C909, remember my posting from the "Bounce Back" thread on thursday? I didn't follow that thread because it was captured by the usual suspects and I wasn't bored enough to talk to them. However, the Essence was:
"I am assuming that we are seeing the sell off of the remaining Amati shares and either the 5m trades at .49p are already sells or that we will see a nine figure late reported trade by tomorrow or Monday."
which corresponds quite exactly to your idea. I would even step back from the "OR" and would say "AND" instead, because I think the real spread was .49/.50 at that time. So most or even all of the 5m trades were sells, which increases the number of dropped shares. Plus you should add these block sales to your list:
15-Jul-22 12:01:13
14-Jul-22 16:40:05 0.480 72,500,000 Unknown* 0.45 0.47 348.20k O (delayed)
15-Jul-22 11:57:12 (not nine digit, but nearly if you add the 17m at the end of the day)
15-Jul-22 14:50:41 0.4355 19,000,000 Unknown* 0.43 0.47 82.75k O
18-Jul-22 14:59:17 0.44 4,000,000 Unknown* 0.43 0.45 17.60k O
Plus some 10m split patterns like these:
19-Jul-22 13:47:04 0.40 2,500,000 Sell* 0.40 0.405 10,000 O
19-Jul-22 13:35:03 0.40 200,000 Sell* 0.40 0.405 800.00 O
19-Jul-22 13:34:30 0.40 200,000 Sell* 0.40 0.405 800.00 O
19-Jul-22 13:34:19 0.40 2,100,000 Sell* 0.40 0.405 8,400 O
19-Jul-22 13:13:20 0.401 2,000,000 Sell* 0.40 0.405 8,020 O
19-Jul-22 13:13:18 0.405 2,000,000 Buy* 0.40 0.405 8,100 O
19-Jul-22 13:13:06 0.4005 5,000,000 Sell* 0.40 0.41 20.03k O
19-Jul-22 08:45:48 0.430 2,000,000 Sell* 0.43 0.45 8,604 O
19-Jul-22 08:45:33 0.430 3,000,000 Sell* 0.43 0.45 12.91k O
19-Jul-22 08:43:51 0.430 3,000,000 Sell* 0.43 0.45 12.91k O
19-Jul-22 08:40:29 0.438 2,000,000 Sell* 0.43 0.45 8,760 O
My guess is that Amati sold something like 250m during the past four trading days. Add what you expect them to have sold between their TR-1 in April and the current placing RNS and you get some kind of feeling that they may have sold their 430m shares soon. I am sure they have sold into any rise from then to now and that they are responsible for the instant drop below the placing price diretcly after the placing. However, no matter what the placing originally is intended for, it helps to clear that Amati thing quickly and at low prices.
Since you have a premium account: Have a look at JBER in the order book. They are the MMs with the lowest ask almost all the time for all four post placing trading days now. I expect the party to be over when they haven't been the MMs with the lowest ask price for at least one trading day.
This brings me to another sentence from the "Bounce Back" posting:
"And then it gets bumpy up to .60/.65, because some traders have certainly stocked up, who will sell again with 10-15% profits into the rise."
