DW, in the order book,
the highest MM Bid was WINS @64p (unchanged since 08:12)
the lowest MM Ask was WIRE @68p (unchanged since 08:12).
Right now, WIRE mooved the ask up to 68p, all others are 68,8p+
Looks like we found the bottom for today :-)
BodRuncie, it depends where you pay taxes. In Germany, for example, CGT is not calculated using the average. The rule here is: first in, first out.
Currently, the stocks that I bought @0.38p after Aries opened the barrel are my "oldest" stocks. If I buy 1,000,000 EQT shares today and immediately sell them again at the same price, e.g. 1.9p, I still make 1,000,000 * (1.9-0.38)p = GBP 15,520 profit under German law and have to pay around GBP 4,256 in taxes.
In the past, I always had a small trading position in stocks that I knew to some extent, in addition to the long-term position. Since multibagging, trading with EQT no longer makes sense to me. After selling a certain number of shares, I would need a drop of 20% to buy me back the same number of shares.
I guess, I am not the only one locked this way. Maybe this is one of the reasons why there are less trades than a few months ago.
One of the reasons why we are at Billingham could be that Air Products failed to build their two plants TV1 and TV2 in the same area five years ago and lost $945.7m ($846.6m after-tax) .
That time they stated: "In addition, the decision allows the Company to execute its strategy of focusing resources on its core Industrial Gases business. As a result, the EfW segment has been presented as a discontinued operation."
Hi all, I am not invested in PPS any more, but since I was invested and grew up only a few hundret meters from the Vonovia research quarter in Bochum, I read the local news sometimes and thought, this one is nice to know... Remember this one from last year?

Haven't seen an update for quite a while, but things seem to run good and they made it to several local press this week. Most of it is behind paywalls, but all based on the following official press release from Vonovia (German language, ask Google for help):
https://presse.vonovia.de/de-de/aktuelles/210423-forschung-in-weitmar
Nope, there are 9 marketmakers. Our order book is nearly empty most time of the day. Then there are only our nine MMs on the bid and on the ask side.
The general spread is the difference between the highest of those nine bids, currently 1.95, and the lowest of those nine asks, currently 2.05. Canaccord has a wide own spread of 1.75/2.25, so they are not considered fot the "is a buy/sell" thing of the London South East page right now.
It is a simple algo: If the price paid was higher than the middle between bid and ask, they call it buy, if it was higher, they call it sell. If it hits exactly the middle it is marked "unknown" and later on marked as a buy or sell based on an unknown rule.
So, buy or sell doesn't mean much more than "traded higher/lower than the middle between the bid/ask price". This is why it is so unimportant. If the spread is widened to one direction, this shifts the middle to the same direction, resulting in more red or blue trades ...
Welcome :-)

Looks like someone is collecting, no matter what the website says about "buy" or "sell".
There is a third one from that pipeline, "Wilseyville". It hasn't been published in an rns before, first time it appeared was the 20210419 RNS mentioned before. So we don't have further information, but "has already received indicative terms for funding" sounds good.
I expect it to have a similar size, max. 3 MW. I have read somewhere that small local power plants up to 3 MW are what they want in California and that there is some advantage in not exceeding 3MW, but don't know what kind of advanatge it is (Subsidies? Simpler approval process?). Can't find it right now... unfortunately, bookmarking postings is nearly impossible in the LSE boards.
Nice summary, thank you.
There was/is a second US plant in the Phoenix pipeline: NAPA
20200528 RNS Projects and Commercial Update:
"Full planning permit for the new location (initially to accommodate a larger 2MWe capacity power plant) is still under process with some delays attributable to COVID-19. The client is now evaluating the option of a larger installation and requested a full quote for an increased 3MWe plant. This was completed and provided by EQTEC.""
20210419 RNS Final Results for the year ended 31 December 2020
"[...] This project and a pipeline of others of similar size is being developed with US partners, Phoenix Biomass Energy LLC ("Phoenix") and a full planning permit is progressing for a second project with Phoenix in Napa, California. Technology due diligence has been completed successfully for the third project with Phoenix, in Wilseyville, California and has already received indicative terms for funding."
Come on, adding € 700,000 million in sales doesn't cut your pre-tax losses by € 1.4 million. DP is really good, but that would be magic.
Something went wrong in the masterinvestor article. I don't have an Arden Report from exactly that time on hand. In the 20220322 report, Arden assumes the following values:
Sales
2019: €1.7m
2020: €2.4m
Adj. Operating Loss:
2019: €2.5m
2020: €3.7m
The fact that there is still a gap between this and the final Financial Report in this regard is mainly due to the salaries and the generous issuance of warrants for employees on the upper floors.
"MM"-games. When the main market is closed, the spread is carefully opened in the direction of the last discernible trend. After that, the sp will be moved carefully further in this direction.
Some German stock exchanges close at 8 p.m. From then on, at the latest, Tradegate can do what they want. A golden rule says: don't trade in the last hour. Anyone who trades after 9 p.m. can have a lot of fun with it, but also bad luck.
Looks like there is a lot going on behind the scenes. The following one comes as surpisingly as the short note about the North Fork 15% additional ownership. Haven't heard about it elsewhere before, just found it in the 2020 annual report without further explaination:
21. FINANCIAL ASSETS
Investment in related undertaking
At beginning of financial year: -
Investment in shares in Logik WTE Limited: €2,570,888
At end of financial year: €2,570,888
