P50 at Springhill was supported by an expectation of 12.5 metres of net pay. Today the company has announced 20 metres of hydrocarbons in the Springhill.
This comfortably covers the P50 and 11Mbblls expected from the Springhill and assumed $69.8M net to Echo.
The Tobifera has shown 120 metres of hydrocarbons.
Testing to confirm of course, but hence the note for caution.
It’s potential on successful testing is huge.

Did we expect oil or gas in Springhill? It seems to me that as the Tobifera wasn’t in the cpr, then springhill was the oil target. My question then is that what depth of pay was estimated at springhill in comparison to what they appear to have found in the tobifera?

I cannot recommend enough that you watch. Also pay careful attention to 49 minutes in. XPF drilled 120m Net gas pay. High pressure blow outs and capping. Its all there. Remember at the time oil was the only play. Plus XPF rebid for the Tapi Aike licence at the current round.

You have to take buys and sells with a pinch of salt after hours. Brokers have a maximum of 3 days to post trades I believe. Not the norm but many posts from early in the session post late.

My thoughts are that today is day 4 of loosely a 14 day drill and by approx Wednesday next week we should be hitting approx 1750 metres or so. This is payzone time and there is a possibility of Rns's anytime from then on. I'm expecting people to start taking positions now.

For anyone in any doubt of just how well things are going. This quarter’s figures came very close to eclipsing the previous corresponding 3 years income figures. Group revenue 183, Previous 120, 58, 41. That’s gotta make you smile.

Now the dust has settled, really impressed with today’s results. Group revenue for the quarter £183M as opposed previous 2 years at £120M & £58M for 17/16. PLT turning into the star performer here by my reckoning. and USA up 75% this year, on top of 97% growth this quarter last year. Simply outstanding.

I don't know Apache, I'd rather get them out of the way and washed. I think the effect of having them hanging overhead long term can be a real drag.

Interesting Franko, thought OMJ hated Sound/Echo/Coro. Guess he�s trying to be bluntly honest, but I also never see him regard the upsides. Nice to see him invented though. And to note. Yes completely agree. Should not have raised at 12.5p. Window of opportunity aside.

1st drill took 10 days and was to 1740M 2nd drill 1800M. By my maths it�s day 9 tomorrow.

msw I saw that as well. Makes no sense. I asked the bod to clarify the sensitivity factor on the exploration programme. Gafney Cline estimates were based on $47/bbl and the sensitivity factor was actually set at $55/bbl. It appears that the $65/bbl is a typo. I hope they�re going to tidy the figures up as it�s in our favour.

Not a buy folks. These new shares are coming back through the market. You don�t think these institutional investors keep them? Maybe a small percentage. Most will ditch and run having made 10/20%
