Digitization is a factor, whatever the area in which it is involved, increasingly important and, by now, necessary within every company. Italy, unfortunately, has positioned itself at the 20th place in the DESI indexused to measure the degree of digitization of the 27 EU Member States.

Italian companies still too little digitized

According to the study “The contribution of social networks and digital channels for the growth and digitization of Italian SMEs”, carried out for Meta by The European House-Ambrosettiif Italy were to reach the level of digitization of small and medium-sized enterprises in Denmark, Finland and Sweden could increase up to 9.2% the labor productivity of small and medium-sized enterprises, generating up to almost 25 billion euros additional contribution to GDP.
