Well, I don't specifically care about the daily / weekly / monthly fluctuations, as I'm looking into a period of 5-15 years. Why bother stressing out when the fundamentals haven't changed and the best is *yet* to come? The stock also cannot be a subject to "puts" and "calls" too.

Morning, guys. Just a question. I've encountered several times that Rolls-Royce has exited the narrowbody market a decade-ish ago, but I cannot find any reading material when or why exactly? Would anyone please enlighten me? Cheers.

Honestly, Trump might not be that away from the truth. The whole tariffs fiasco benefits Rolls-Royce. The company has been a prominent investor in the US for the past decade, and continues to invest triple digit millions of $. Some competitors who want to outsource the US labor to foreign countries are getting beat up. We'll see how long this will continue for.

I wouldn't necessarily say decades, but good 5-15 years. RYCEY's going to make some people millionaires.

You're comment seems to imply that these companies are overvalued in what they provide as a service. The same comment you wrote from your laptop with a TSMC hardware, powered by Microsoft Windows, through Google (Alphabet).

They are not overvalued, neither is Rolls. Assuming no recessions, crashes and black swans, you'll always be at an all time high. That's the whole point of investing.

The Dow Jones was at an all time high in 1985, 1995, 2005, 2015, 2025, and unless we bomb each other and WW3 commences, it will be higher in 2035. You remember how we used to look at India as a poor country? Now just 13% of their population is considered as such.

The worrld is getting richer, and richer. The population is increasing and the energy required will be more (Ding*Ding* - Rolls-Royce SMR to the rescue).

Who said you cannot have a market cap of $118 ( 96 GBP ) of Market Cap with $24B of revenues? That's exactly how most companies operate - their market cap is x10 their earnings. Take a look at some fairly valued companies and their Market Cap to Revenues ratio:

Alphabet (GOOG) - Market Cap - $2.4T; Revenues - $350B. - 7 times less

Microsoft - Market cap - $3.8T; Revenues - $280B - 14 times less

TSMC - Market Cap - $1.2T; Revenues - $89B - 13 times less

And then you've got Rolls-Royce:

Market Cap - $118B; Revenues - $24B - 6 times less.

I don't know what your agenda is, but following the market cap, RR has an amazing potential, and not just an "Aerotyne International" sort of, but real one.

This is my only stock, and 50% of my paycheck goes to it.

Rolls-Royce is amazingly undervalued, and the only things from stopping it to be in the $hundreds is that it's not an American company, so there's not so much hype going on, and the second is having 8B shares outstanding.

The company revenues are in fact better than GE Vernova (a competitor). General Electric is sitting on $600 a share with earnings of barely $2B, whilst Rolls is heading for the $4B.

We will see the SMR division cash flow positive in 2030.

Ultrafan to be hitting the narrowbody in 2030s too.

The AUKUS programme will hit the balance sheet good too.

Power systems and aircraft engines with long LTSA are kicking-in.

The fundamentals haven't changed. Play the patience game and in 10 years you'll be a millionaire.

Rolls-Royce p/e ratio is incredibly low - barely 16. This indicates, that nothing is priced in. The company is being ignored.

Arm Holdings (ARM) are trading in the $130 mark with 4 times less net earnings and 6 times less revenues. Also, 8 times less shares outstanding.

The market at the moment isn't rational.

Hey, is everyone in this chat day-trading? Why shall we all worry, if the stock market is red this week, month or even year, when the SMRs, Narrowbody, AUKUS programme and everything else are yet to come in 10 years? Put a 100K in it and become a millionaire in a decade, no?

Do you guys think this can reach into the hundreds $ in a few years (close to 2030 and onwards).
